Well it will be close. Their defense will be a test.

Yeah, maybe for the first quarter...

Mullen is a great offensive coach

Their run game is nothing special and their QB is in the bottom half of the ones we face this season. I'd be more worried if it was his backup. He has a little athleticism and we wouldn't have enough film to know his tendencies.

All I got out of the OP was yet another dumbass using the word “literally” unnecessarily and incorrectly.

Let the Florida fans talk.. They beat Auburn so they have some confidence. But this will be Trask's first road start. Joe Burrow isn't a true freshman QB and our OL and WRs are better than Auburn. Florida's OL isn't that strong. Lets see how that works out for them.

And here is the issue with LSU and this offense. You need more than 2 good corners against us and even with two good corners our WRs will get theirs. Oh and then you have a run game and screen game to worry about. We also just showed we can use the TEs. So we can still add protection with a TE but use him in the pass game as well as run game. I think that should be a secondary game plan for LSU if we are indeed having issue with protection. Run straight at them and use the TEs as an extension of the run game to get physical with them. Soften that hard rush out a little then go fast. Mix the two offenses.

The question will be if Florida can get pressure on Burrow when just rushing four.

They can get pressure with rushing four vs any team in the country.

This isn't a line you play straight up. You scheme around them.

Bo Nix was “arse” because our defensive line was able to bring an effective pass rush with 4 people, because we both of our NFL caliber corners were finally healthy in a game together,
I'll agree with him here. I saw two very good defenses, not crap offenses.

While not the greatest offenses, granted... but I can say with confidence that was defense ruining the AU offense. Not a defense being the beneficiary of an offense that sucked.

I really enjoy the delusion of Florida fans. Texas fans reminded me of them.

Texas fans thought they could beat us. After the game I’d have to say they were right. This Florida fan is also right. It’s an open question whether LSU will be effective against their pass rush. If we give Burrow time we should beat them handily, but that’s a big if.

IDK. Nix missed some wide open receivers, including one that would have been a touchdown.

very true. My take (aka worthless opinion) was that most of that was just like UF poster OP referenced said due to UF's defense.

Not only did they 'affect' him most of the game, but I saw panic (exacerbated by being a freshmen) set in. The 'affects' culminated in...
A) throwing late, after the break. That's the panic, he's afraid to make mistakes and lacks anticipation. Saw it on bad pass in redzone after Browns fumble recovery. Saw it on one-handed INT down the sideline.

B) AU couldn't run very well. That's a credit to UF's D. And it threw the whole game plan off. Not only were they somewhat one-dimensional, they were behind the chains. The pressure and down-distances Nix faced were a factor in him playing badly. To make matters worse, the 'secondary runs' Malzahn runs when he can't establish a primary running game (e.g. jet sweeps) were losing more yards than gaining. When it all fell on Nix's shoulders, UF put the pressure on him and he panicked.

To segue to another point you are making...

How open were those AU receivers on some of those you are referring to? ALOT. They might have some future NFLers at CB, but their safeties blew in that game. The pass to Williams to set them up in redzone (ended in INT), the skinny post he threw late just before that INT. All wide open.

My point is... Burrow aint Nix. He's not going to panic. They will have to put him in the dirt to affect him like they did Nix, not just make him move or throw him off. And if their safeties play like that with Joe Cool- we'll murder them.
