Youre not well versed in the demographic of NWA it seems.

Sure, I am. It was a joke.

Lived in Joplin, MO, for years ... traversed NWA many times back/forth to Louisiana.

Nice place.

Awesome.

Hit up Hugo's. On the square. Underground joint. Great burgers and fries. Very dim lighting, kind of like eating back in the 50's.

Added the latest local forecast to OP.

Weather guy seems to be sold on snow starting around 5:00 Saturday evening.

I have been to Fayetteville a number of times and can vouch for the fact that their version of MLK drive does NOT fit the stereotypical version of MLK drive that Chris Rock always talks about It is a nice road with no violence.

I've never had a problem on Dickson wearing LSU gear.

Some of the places my friends and I go are:

Social Club- Kinda arcade bar with a lot of TV's. Giant Jenga, Shuffle Board, Darts, and old arcade games are all free.

Green Room- Pretty nice pool hall.

If you are looking to drink a lot, Shotz is a pretty fun place. May be a little younger, but a fun place to check out.

If you are parking down by Baum Stadium, there is a nice sports bar over there called Foghorns. The owner is a fun guy, the staff is always pretty good. Like the food. I'm sure they can play the soccer game if you ask(as long as it isn't Saturday).

Like others have said Hugo's is a pretty good place to eat. If you are around Springdale AQ Chicken is pretty good.

Also Hawgeye, you may wanna update about 49 North around Bentonville with all the construction

If I listed all the construction going on, it may take a while.

I figured south Louisiana folks would rather drive through construction than up hills on some of the smaller streets around. I know I would. But yea, widening I49 is a slight cluster heading north for sure.

And to add to Tigercoop's post...Foghorns is an alright spot. Im not a big fan of their wings, but would make for a short walk from Baum parking lot to be indoors and grab some beer. Then hop back over to Baum and catch a shuttle bus up to the stadium.

I also like Chuy's(sp)up in Rogers for Mexican food if any of you are staying that way. Its across from Pinnacle Hills. Also, you will find a good sized Cabela's there. Im sure most everyone in our two fan bases are into the outdoors. Would also be a good spot for a thick coat that will be needed Saturday.

Farrell's. You might also check out Smoke & Barrel, which is home to the AO chapter. They are the bigger soccer fans. Kind of a hipster bar, otherwise. I like it though. Its off Dickson, behind Jose's(mexican-themed patio, can't miss it).

If Farrell's is ever overbooked, there's another sports bar right behind it up the alley called Sideways.

Damn we have a lot of bars on Dickson.

Thanks for the advice.

We'll watch it at Farrell's if that is the official AO bar.

We're heading to vitro 1925 for dinner that night and have heard nothing but great things.

Vetro is up on the Square. There's West Mountain Brewing (small) on the Square. If you feel like barring around a bit, Maxine's Tap room and Tables & Ale are up that way. JR's lightbulb is small and hipstery and will probably have a band. Don't go to Club Push unless someone in your group is gay.

All of that is feasibly walkable from Dickson, but its more than a few blocks, uphill. On a nice night, I'd recommend it.

I'll contact the AO chapter up there and see if there is anything going on.

Thanks.
