Basically, I don’t care if it’s televised or not. If you wait until 7:00 PM ESPN likely isn’t going to have anything to show but a tarp on the field.

Refresh my memory, if two games are played Saturday doesn't that mean they will only play 7 innings for game 1? Or are both games 7 innings? A 7 inning game favors the team that has Paul Skenes

And the biggest issue is all 3 of your weekend starters are now on short rest if there is a double header Saturday. Thursday-Saturday series are stupid and always have been

Yeah yeah, but you know what will really piss me off? Is if they wait til 7 to play, the game goes 3 innings, then gets rained out and we have burned Skenes...when the game could have been played earlier with no rain.

We get fricked if we have to push fridays game to saturday. That means that Skenes wouldn't pitch on Thursday against Tennessee. I agree we should exhaust all possibilities of playing earlier on Friday. The TV contract not allowing for the teams to decide what is in their best interests is complete bullshite and the league needs to step in.

ESPN cannot switch time for this game, regardless. If it’s rained out they just pick one of the other games in that slot.
