At Nicholls-Bama game. 9:09 first pitch. Was supposed to start at 6 but one little shower sat over the last game. Maybe this is why Jay took the early game.

That's exactly why. Sucks for the fans who have to work, but Paul played the early game as well whenever we hosted, for just that reason.

that is definitely part of the reason LSU coaches typically like playing the early game in the first round

Long story short, Oregon State kept up the pace from the 1st inning, and Sam Houston didn't. I didn't realize it was quite that bad though.
