I've always felt this way and hate all of the SEC!!! SEC!!! chanters shouting down anyone who doesn't toe the conference line. Screw everyone else.
I'm kind of ambivalent about the East, but the only team in the West I don't hate with a passion is State. They usually aren't a big threat in recruiting and we tend to own them on the field, so I don't mind if they win. Everyone else has plenty of bandwagon fans. I will not be one of them.

since 2011, I have actively rooted against every team in the SEC not named LSU. I sacrifice kittens every Gump game and it finally paid off!

Agree. The sec has done LSU no favors. It was all Bama and then Aggy came along and they were favored over us. LSU has done more for the sec than the conference for us.

When I was watching the Auburn and Florida State game in the championship game with my friends, they were all screaming, "WAR EAGLE WAR EAGLE!!!" Why the frick would they cheer for one of their arch rivals to be successful? It makes no sense to me. Unless the game benefits LSU in any way, I will never ever cheer for an SEC team to win. Only cheer for LSU and that's it.

Just think, all of the people getting murdered in Alabama today over a football game. We lose we discuss doing it, they lose, it really is the end of some of their worlds.

Amen! It makes absolutely no sense to root for the SEC to win bowl games. I could care less what the national perception of the SEC is, all I care about is LSU winning National Championships. Bama winning championships has only made it easier for them to snatch 5 stars out of our back yard
