The key to the season was Brady Neal, Paxton Kling and Jared Jones taking another step going into their Soph year.
"The biggest jump a player has is from Y1 to Y2"
Jones has done his part, Neal & Kling are pretty much the same players as they were last year. Jay was very much depending on them making a jump.

Literally said this last week after the State loss and the rant almost banned me. Wake up people, accept it and enjoy the rest of the season.

That is what I can't understand. How can we constantly hear about all this talent. What determines talent....production determines talent unless we are talking about HS talent and we all know how off that can be. I don't see a lot of top SEC talent on this team, and I definitely see a bunch of players with no SEC talent, who are playing. Makes me wonder just what do the player on the bench, not playing, have to be in a top SEC program.

Good grief. Second SEC series and you mfs are ready to jump the railing. This is a great team that WILL figure shite out by May and June. I want to bookmark every damn thread full of chicken littles ready to call the season a failure, but I'll give grace. Cam Johnson should be given a bigger role, and the Little experiment needs to end. He's (Jay) going to figure it out. The lineup, pitching rotation, all of it WILL BE FIGURED OUT. We still have pitchers we're waiting on to get healthy. Larson needs more ab's. Jay will absolutely figure all of this shite out and we will get better and contend for another natty. When I see posters coming out of the woodwork I NEVER see while we're winning, I can't help but laugh. Not talking about you longcut, just the multitude of posters that only come out to play when we lose. They scatter like roaches once we're playing good again.
