Thank you Fournette for being the greatest back to come to LSU. Lucky Les didn't get you killed with that offense

Kevin Faulk says hello. Leonard didn't really know how to wait for the play to develop like Faulk.

Soooo why did his team waive him? And why didn’t anyone jump at the chance to grab him off waivers?

Apparently every other team in the NFL disagrees with you.

They didn't want to pay full price, plus a lot of GMs over think things, as well as coaches. Arians stated the Fournette would have his role in the offense, 2 games in he wins them the game by going over 100 yards on only 12 carries with 2 TDs (he now has 1 less TD then he had all of last year).

I don't care what the reasons were, I'm just glad somebody decent picked him up.

LSU has more production at RB in the NFL right now than Bama

BO Jackson>>>>>>>>>>>Fournette

Funny you mention Bo Jackson because he and Fournette have played the exact same number of NFL games.

Bo Jackson: 38 games
2,782 yards rushing
352 yards receiving
16 TD
82.47 total yards per game
5.6 yards per touch

Leonard Fournette: 38 games
2,739 yards rushing
1,036 yards receiving
19 TD
99.34 total yards per game
4.6 yards per touch

Bo had a much higher average per touch, but they are not all that dissimilar overall from a performance standpoint.

Jacksonville's management is an absolute joke. They crashed the market on him and then released him because they "didn't like his attitude". They also passed up a 1st round pick for Ngokue and ended up trading him for a 3rd. Let's not use their judgement to evaluate anything.

You just proved my point. He’s not worth top 5 pick money. Look, he’s a good NFL back and will probably have a long career. He’s just not a RB that you build a team around (Elliott, Barkley, Peterson). He was drafted as the centerpiece to that Jags franchise and it didn’t pan out.

But that comment about “finally having a QB” was a dick thing to say.

Might be good to build your fantasy team off those guys, but not a real NFL team.

The cowboys have all sorts of talent with zeke but have won one playoff game. Saquon has won an impressive 8 games in 3 years. Mccaffery is probably the best RB in the league. He’s played in one playoff game and had 16 yds rushing. Peterson has won just one playoff game in his career; ten years ago playing with a HOF QB.

Fournette already has as many playoff wins in his career than all 4 of those guys combined. With blake bortles...
