You heard the Saints have ZERO 2014 drafted players on the team, you say?

Brandin Cooks and Vinnie Sunseri are 2.

He would be a Top 5 pick in 2016.

while i see the point, it would RUIN college football.

also: the NCAA and major programs make too much money to let it happen

That doesn't make it right nor does it mean the law was applied correctly

One judge. And after an exchange with the lawyer. The opinion of the Second Circuit was written by now Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor, one of the most liberal jurists in the country.

It's in the NFL's best interest to have this rule in play. Do you have any idea how many mistakes they would make and how many millions they would waste drafting kids out of high school or with limited college experience?

Whatever. Maybe it was 2013. It was just something Moscona said on his show the other day, don't remember. I don't give a frick about the Saints.

His durability should allow for a longer career. He will be set for life pretty much with his first contract. Les is the perfect coach for LF. He will make sure he's healthy for NFL. If he wins heisman this year I believe he will implement guice and DW n 2016. Plus Harris will be much more developed and I believe we throw a lot more

The Union is for current players, whose jobs would obviously be threatened by a rule change. They are colluding with the teams as well on this issue.

This is settled. Rookie wages. The NFL draft itself. You are very far away from reality.

But generally speaking, I would be perfectly ok with scaling back on what the union can and can't do (obviously would keep for negotiating general licensing purposes like Madden) in exchange for getting rid of the salary cap, draft, and age limits.

What you would do is irrelevant. You aren't a part of ether group that sat down and agreed to this deal. As a fan, you are an idiot for wanting that.

quote:

if I were an owner I would be pissed about this as well, if I want to pay Andrew Luck $250 million over 10 years when his Colts contract expires, why should I be prevented from doing so? it's my money after all.

The owners know that they will make more money and grow the product by adhering to these rules. They are way smarter than you and they are reminded of it when they look at the yearly revenue and reflect on how the franchise values have skyrocketed since the inception of the salary cap and free agency.

You literally have to be a moron to not be able to acknowledge how much better the NFL does it than any other sport.

Your entire position is bleeding heart mentality that only looks at one party in the discussion.

if the 3 years out of high school rule is ever taken away by the courts the nfl would probly just require a player to have a degree to play

I don't think there is much of a threat to that happening.

The NFL has a 3 year rule.

The NBA has a 1 year rule.

And, MLB has a 3 year once you go to college rule.

All leagues have the ability to control entrance to their draft.
