Who gives a shite??

If you think I’ll stop liking fournette bc he chose to do this, you’ve got another thing coming. He’s done so much good and is a class act. He doesn’t deserve to be shite on for this. It’s his opinion and leave it at that.

They are doing it for attention, and they are getting it. Simple as that. And it’s disrespectful to the people who pay money to watch them play a game and not interject their politics. If they were doing this shite on their own time, nobody would give a frick. But that’s not what they want.

People would still bitch. People bitch about people protesting on their own time all the time.

NFL games provides them the platform to do it because everyone is watching, that's why they do it during games. Nobody is watching them during the offseason, I wouldn't even know who was who in their street clothes. I would be like there goes some big fricking humongus football guy passing by if I saw them. Then I'd be like "Hey, he's starting to kneel down, what is he kneeling down for?? Is he about to suck someone's cock or something?"

It’s a commercial enterprise, there is NOTHING patriotic about the fking NFL trying to sell more tickets which is the only reason they ever started playing the anthem. God you people are so gullible...

People don't even seem to realize that the flag represents the Union, not the military.

I'm so sick of this stupid argument

I hate Black Lives Matter, and I'm sick of semiweekly uproar during each season about this shite from the other side

frick

This thread is about Fournette staying in the locker room, not kneeling during the anthem. Did it occur to you that maybe he's trying to avoid the whole issue where players are being pressured ion one side to kneel, and on the other side to stand? "frick it, I'll stay my arse in the locker room until it's time for me to go to work and earn my money."

So are all the men not removing their hats in the stadium.

Why do you want politics interjected into football with the anthem in the first place? What the frick does Francis Scott Key have to do with football?

yes I do, if I'm paying money to watch you entertain me.

So, you really pay money to watch what happens pre game?

Really?

I get a lot of NFL fans do appreciate seeing the kneeling take place. But, then again, their view does not matter, only your view matters. amirite?

Unfortunately, I believe the only view that matters is what view is producing the most money. The NFL lost a lot of money when the kneeling began. At that point, politics went out the window. If their ratings would have gone up, they would have never said a word about it.

This I agree with.

My issue is with the snowflakes whining about it not watching the game because of it.

There is little doubt in my mind that people are upset over some grown men taking a knee ( not a disrespectful posture) during the pre-game. Like SJW they criticize, they think it is important that everyone think and act the way they want them to.

I still contend that many of them are sitting down watching the pregame while getting mad at the player for not standing.

I love me some Tigers...but I love my country even more! I hope Fournette doesn't go the route that Eric (P.O.S) Reid took. It's tradition and a show of pride, unity, and love of country, as well. We can all find things to bitch about but during a football game's national anthem is not the time or place to air out those bitches. What do they not get? Play football, make big money and use your money to help your causes.

What relevance does the national anthem have at a game anyway? If you really want to "keep politics out of the game", play the game without the anthem. Simple.
