Cowherd just said Fournette is such a transcendent talent that it would not hurt his draft stock to sit out a year.

The thing you have to understand about that show is they set these topics up preshow to purposely disagree and take both sides of every topic. Their arguments most of the time are just flat out dumb and they probably dont even really agree with what they are saying.

He said they could stuff the box to stop him
If you look at Fournette's long runs...most are against a "stuffed box". That is a double edged sword for the defense because IF the OL blocks it well and LF gets past that lane....there is no one left to stop him.
That is why LSU continues to run with 8...9...10 in the box. It comes down to a stop by the D or a long gain by the RB.

He said he was 8/16 but was not confident he could hit a receiver wide open waving for the ball?

I get what you are saying, but Skip just seems so into what he has to say. He did make a point about it being qb driven, but then went on to say it was because Harris wont be able to throw it, so LF wouldnt get his yards against tougher teams.

I agree.... If they construct a mini great wall of China...
But then again, Buga would prolly just bust right through that shite!

Smith leaned towards Clark's argument. Made the comment that Fournette will not be able to do this in the NFL though because he can't just run over everybody.
This was not the way I understood it. I heard Smith say that LF could not do this for a LONG TIME in the NFL - that he could not make a lengthy career out of trucking people because it would eventually take its toll.

This was funnier in your head.

That has not stopped Lynch or AP. As long as your body can take the punishment, and as long as you can heal fast from the injuries you do sustain, it doesn't matter. I mean look at AP right now.

People keep saying that as if he he can't make guys miss. He makes plenty of cuts, jukes, and spins. It's just that the level of punishment he delivers without hardly missing a step is incredible.

Yeah, he always does. He is good at that, but that is why he is on the show. No one disagrees on that much stuff every single day for two hours.
