Seriously just sit him out of all contact until season starts.

Really. Enough of the old school everyone has to practice stuff. If he's in shape he just needs to know the play book and his assignments. How hard can that be in this offense.

At least give him a no contact jersey.

Light ankle sprain is a blessing. Means less chance he's seriously injured before the season

To be a high level athlete takes a lot of intense training and sometimes you will get injuries. Praying this is a small set back

Yeah, but what kind of sprain?
A high ankle sprain would linger most of the season and really limit him.

#LSU coach Les Miles said Fournette was hurt on an 8-12 yd run when someone fell on his leg from behind. Not a high ankle sprain.

Sprain by definition is tearing of ligaments.

Sad news for Lanard

Whats the recovery time on an injury like that? Assuming he doesnt practice for two weeks, will he be 100% for Wisconsin?

Could be anywhere from a few days to a few weeks

A sprain is a stretching of ligaments, not tearing.
