Discusses fight at LSU

Does anyone have any idea who the other players are that he's mentioned?

Post freshman season, so spring 2016. Fournette told the offense to man up since only Foster was the one scrapping with the defense through spring camp.

Sounds like what everyone knew that practices were pretty physical under Miles at LSU. LOL Les never fielded a soft team like Orgeron's 2017 offseason prep.

Someone could probably find the 2016 spring game when Foster decleated the LB during the play. Not sure which LB he leveled was but sounds like whoever he destroyed in the play is the one that he fought with.

While that’s an entertaining story, that really sheds some light on how Les used to run those teams.

It was that shitty linebacker that I think wore 35. 3* kid from New Orleans. He was never any good so I obviously don't remember his name. He only started for 1 season and I don't believe he even lasted a full season as a starter.

Loved that guy. Some dumbass stated Moss was the best TE in forever at LSU. I told him to look at the 2019 NFL Draft. Hilarious. Moss was an adequate TE but nothing like Foster Moreau.

Haven't been able to find the full game anywhere but here is the depth chart for linebackers that year.

OLB: Arden Key, Tashawn Bowers
MLB: Kendell Beckwith, Donnie Alexander
MLB: Duke Riley, Devin White
OLB: Michael Divinity, Rahsaan Thornton

"I got punched in the face in that locker room more times than I can't count."

Thats a direct quote from Foster. Thats a terrible culture to have. I love chippiness on the field but if the issues bleed into the locker room than you have a culture problem.

Now that we think we know who he de-cleated, we need to figure out who had the lead pipe.

I have no idea who that person is. I only know about Donnie Alexander because Foster went to school with my brother and told him the story one time.

I have first hand experience of practices under Les Miles and I can tell you with confidence that practices were absolutely brutal. Somewhere between Les Miles and ED O is how it should be

Kind of sounds like some prison yard shite. Now I’m curious how many programs are like this.

It’s no secret Les was hard in practice. It was one of Ed’s changes. But then we looked totally unprepared to start the season.

The sweet spot was prob somewhere in the middle.

Funny thing is...the physicality that we had under Les absolutely carried over to the field. If he had been a little more innovative like he was with the Wizard in 2007 or unleashed the offense a little more like he did in '07 and even '08, Les could have sustained more.

He had his nuts clipped after J.Lee threw all those pick 6s.

Yep.

That is the most frustrating part of his tenure. Les's teams were talented. Rarely were they out-physicaled. Even by many of the Saban Alabama teams. It's just after 2008 he absolutely refused to take any "risk" with respect to the offense. Even so little of risk as attacking the middle of the field in the passing game. Regardless of opponent, his approach was to be physical, play great defense, be good on special teams, and hope to do just enough on offense to win without engaging in any risk of turnovers whatsoever. The only time post 2008 he was really forced to abandon that approach was 2013 when LSU was weak defensively. What happen was LSU was pretty damn good offensively when they were forced to be.

His teams were good. When you take into account the length of his LSU tenure and the overall success during that time, you could make an argument he's the best HC in LSU history. Unfortunately, his stubbornness left the potential for great success on the table because he flat out refused to adjust his approach. Even when he knew failing to do so was going to get him fired...which is exactly what happened in Sept of 2016 after damn near being fired at the end of 2015

There is no doubt that he went conservative after 08. His teams at OK State threw the ball all over the field, and his teams from 05-07 were throwing the ball around a good bit as well. We went straight toss dive after 08.

Yet we still got absolutely man handled by Bama most of the time.

Man handled? Absolutely not. Beat yes, but even then we won some games against them.
