And hopefully we have the UF version of Harris to make them pay

The blueprint is easy, man. The blueprint to stop LSU is easy,” he said. “It’s very easy because all teams are going to do is load the box, stop Leonard [Fournette] and then they’re going to dare the young quarterback that’s not really young anymore, but the unproven quarterback to prove it to them. It’s the blueprint.” There’s not much to argue with here. Plenty of voices have called for LSU quarterback Brandon Harris to do more this season after he showed inconsistency during the Tigers’ 9-3 campaign last year. Harris finished with 2,165 yards passing. But he struggled in big moments late in the season as part of a stretch when LSU lost three consecutive games to Alabama, Arkansas and Ole Miss. Fournette proved that he can’t carry the Tigers alone to the top of the SEC West.

All he is saying is what worked last year against LSU will be tried again and if Harris hasn't improved it will work again.

Yeah, and the play calling. All of it goes hand in hand. Put your guys in the best position to execute. 1 and 2 wr routes on 3rd and 8 ain't going to cut it.

Thats what teams have been trying to do since Miles got here.

Please let this bullshite myth die. Our leading formation for the year was a 3 wr single back set. We ran out of this set 49% of all our plays ran and it was the leading set in 10 games this year.
Why people continue to spout this proven wromg shite is beyond me.

It was so apparent Harris didn't get the reps he should have early on in the season. He should have been throwing it 20-25x a game during blowouts, and the only time that happened was South Carolina

What? You dont practice throwing the ball during a game. You run plays durinh the game that the team ran well in practice. I can see it now. Miles calls passing plays that isnt working and our score against eastern michigan is closer than some of you want it to be and you rip him for that.

Its like some of you think it's better for harris to throw against cupcake secondaries in games when he can practice against one of the most talented secondaries in cfb. As if passing against mid majors helps you against bama.

Title is sorta misleading.

He doesn't say stopping Harris is easy. He said teams are going to make him have to make plays. Not that it is easy to stop him from doing that.

The title seems like Rohn was way harder on Harris than he really was.

Yeah. I think Harris is up for the challenge this year.
People forget he was having a decent season before sports hernia.

Ricky now you know SB Nation is about as credible and TMZ don't ya lil man? Give it a rest. We get that you want to defend our shitty offense but that isn't going to make it any better. This year is do or die for a reason bro

Are you seriously saying you the article isnt credible?

You have nothing that points to our offense being shitty in 2015 except proven football ignorant opinion. There isnt one stat that says our 2015 offense wasnt productive. Ive never seen a fan base get so mad at FACTS that show there team in a good light. I swear we have most ignorant and entitled fan base in cfb.

This qoute is all you.

Because the same old narratives and biases that fans and the media keep repeating are every bit as silly and stubborn as the beliefs they ascribe to Miles. It's just repeating the same thing over and over again, kind of like how people think LSU is just running an I-formation dive over and over again.

Id like you to produce 1 stat that shows our 2015 offense wasnt productive. Just 1.

He should have phrased it a little different. LSU winning blueprint should be to actually practice the passing game in live game situations against the likes of directional state u teams rather than run for 400 at a 65% clip.

The problem is when he was playing relatively well he was babied and didn't throw a ton. Still he doesn't have to be incredible. Bama's QB wasn't incredible last year or the year before.
