I can get on board with the post but this part damages the credibility.
Close is meaningless.

They were also close to at least one additional loss.

That's what I figured....shut you all up.

This right here. Alleva struck gold by going with O. It's still amazes me that people are so vehemently opposed to O and his staff even after they've been so successful.

This right here is why so many people argue with you and your repetitive shite. So successful? What does that even mean? Have we never won 10 games before? Didn’t the last coach do it regularly? How is this objectively so successful and so impressive suddenly?

What Coach O has done is to improve LSU's QB play, improve LSU's kicking game, but what separates him from Miles are his organization skills and time clock management. Coach O also had ro rebuild the O-line and D-line which was in decline under Miles.

Maybe now he can improve the W-L record. He's yet to win more games than Miles averaged over 11 seasons.

Literally every single point you mentioned was misleading or flat out wrong. But keep stoking that ponamsky fire.

Time clock - absolutely right. I almost forgot how bad that was.
Kicker - absolutely right. and somehow he made it look easy.
As far as organizational skills, what evidence do you have to back up that claim? Not saying you’re wrong but how would you even know that?
Don’t see how you can credit O with rebuilding the lines and at the same time say the O line is the problem with this team offensively.

And again. All the things he had done only resulted in 10 wins. So “so successful” still doesn’t jive with the results.

It was impressive when Les Miles did it too. To go so far as to act like it's an everyday thing to avoid giving the current coaches credit is pretty shitty. Why it has to be an argument is beyond me.

This simply isn't true but if it makes you feel good go ahead.

O did go out and get a kicker

O has had one clock problem that I remember.

It's one thing to be critical of the coaches but is it too much to give credit where it's due?

I guess it is for some people.

LSU was picked to finish 6-6 in 2018, but instead, LSU's players came very close to finishing the season at 12-1

That's pretty funny. The truth is that they finished exactly in between those two predictions and still lost to Saban 29-0.

Don't get me wrong, I respect a 9-10 win season. Orgeron has done fine, but he has delivered no better results than Miles.

Didn’t say 10 wins is an every day thing. It’s just objectively not better off than we were before. So how did Alleva strike gold?

You said Alleva "struck gold" with Orgeron. That's a bit more than just giving credit where it's due.

My opinion is LSU is much better off going into this season and finished off better than they have in years.
