So, to confirm, Deangelo Benton was a 3* WR who signed with Auburn and totaled 323 yards and 1 TD in a 4 year career. I'm still waiting for someone to show me where this is incorrect.
There’s a page full of 4 and 5 star links. I can’t help willful ignorance. I’m out.

I'll wait for anyone to tell me what his rating was in the class of 2009 (you know, when he actually signed).

You're beyond help. Enjoy your ignorance.

He was a 3* wide receiver when he signed with Auburn. Is the correct or incorrect?

High 4* out of Hargrave
Literally took 10 seconds to google

He was a 3* composite the year he and Randle signed their LOIs and had 323 yards and 1 TD receiving in his college career.
He wasn’t any good but he was much highly sought after than a 3 star on scout which was crap 10 years ago. I think thats all anyone is saying. I didn’t realize you were so young. Everyone knows about Deangelo Benton

I'll enjoy my composite 247 ranking, which I use for every single recruiting discussion that we have.
Benton signed as a 3 star. He then continued his flame out and ended his career with 323 yards receiving and 1 TD. These are verifiable facts. Reuben Randle was the #8 player in the country and #1 wide receiver. Again, verifiable facts.
Even at his absolute best, Benton was never viewed as a better football player than Reuben Randle. I'm sorry me complimenting an LSU football player that was coached by Les Miles (yes, we all know what this is really about) bothers all of you so much.

Same here.
I'll just agree with him and move on

Still waiting for an answer, by the way.

Here's the rub:
I don't give a shite who Deangelo Benton was when Reuben Randle was a sophomore in high school, and it's not relevant to the comment made. I give a shite who Deangleo Benton was when Reuben Randle was a senior in high school, when he was preparing to sign his LOI
The answer to the latter is the Benton was a 3* composite wide receiver who signed with Auburn.

No one put any stock in scout.com rankings in 2009 dude

For the last time, it wasn't scout it was 247 composite. Something everyone that follows recruiting put stock into.
I can find ratings that have Kardell Thomas as a 5* too. We won't see anyone rating him as a 5* guard for the 2019 class though.
ETA: I mean, you're linking a single recruiting service while dismissing another, hypocrisy of this notwithstanding. Meanwhile, I'm using the composite ranking from the year he actually signed.

My baw, 24/7 bought out Scout like 2-3 years ago. When you are looking at a player from 2009 you are looking at old scout.com rankings

I'm looking at the 247 COMPOSITE rating.

Well you might grow into an adult by then. It's been posted numerous times. You just backed into a corner and are too stubborn to admit your wrong.
Benton was as highly regarded as Randle. Us that we're adults at the time know the entire story
