That's seems to be par for the course with some of these guys. 
Well, that's 2 minutes those guys ain't getting back. Why waste all that time when you can just dream up some bullshite story and try to pass it off as fact.

Wait, so he was talking about a Deangleo Benton that came out of High School 3 years before Rueben Randle?
Randle signed in 2009. Why the frick would Randle care where a player from the class of 2007 signed?

I’m pretty sure Benton had 5 star status coming out of juco (might have been prep school)

Benton was a 4* but couldn’t qualify. He then went to the same prep school as Keiland Williams and became a 5*. He still couldn’t qualify and went to juco. After signing with LSU twice he was not allowed to sign a third time and yes there was a fued with the Randle family.

Benton was a 5 star on rivals coming from juco & at one point in HS (later dropped to 4). Randles dad said publicly that Reuben wouldn’t sign with LSU if Benton did.

He was a 3* composite the year he and Randle signed their LOIs and had 323 yards and 1 TD receiving in his college career.

You obviously are too young to remember. Benton was a stud and a 5* in high school and prep school. I don’t know what’s in the other thread and don’t care. He obviously didn’t pan out in college, but he was very highly rated in 2007 and 2008. His ratings slipped substantially in his third go around.

Great. So he was a 4* player 2 years before Randle signed and a 3* player in 2009 when he finally signed with a division I school.
So, to confirm, Deangelo Benton was a 3* WR who signed with Auburn and totaled 323 yards and 1 TD in a 4 year career. I'm still waiting for someone to show me where this is incorrect.
