Overall records aren't a good indicator of how good a conference, or team, is now? This is a joke, right?

Overall records aren't a good indicator of how good a team is, but rankings are? Yeah, that's logical.
Yes, because it provides context. Your stats did not.

Because you're still making shite up.
Oh do tell what part I have "made up"

To this point, everything you've posted about 2015's SEC being easier has been debunked with minimal web browsing.
Oh has it? So you're saying you "debunked" that LSU's East opponents in 2015 were significantly worse than their East opponents in 2018? You "debunked" that the SEC finished much higher in the final polls comparatively and that LSU's played tougher opponents? No, I don't believe you debunked any of that. But if it makes you feel better that you did by saying so, then by all means

It's infinitely better than using top 25 rankings.

Told you, if the facts don’t fit their narrative then the facts are biased not their argument. They literally attempt to unmake reality.

What facts? Ranked sixth? Got the respect of voters?
I like those facts

Why? Because it hurts your argument and you can't spin your way out of it?

Anyone who comes at me with an opinion, I'm going to refute with verifiable facts if I can. If you continue to come at me with just opinions after I've already refuted it with verifiable facts, I'm going to treat you like you're wrong, because you are.
That's how debates work.

Because it's not dependent on 129 football teams and what they do. It's a direct result of how good each team is.
Pretty simple actually.

Lol again that’s opinion poll so glorify it all you want to but what title did that post season ranking win for us? What title did it put us in position to win? Absolutely nothing. And the facts I was referring to was the win loss record this guy keeps trying to twist and call biased. You guys are hilarious.

I think I'll go with someone who has credibility, sport

Is 2018 Florida (10-3) better than 2015 Ole Miss (10-3). The rankings say they are.
Ole Miss was the highest ranked 3 loss team in 2015. They were 12th. Florida is the 2nd highest ranked 3 loss team in 2018. They are 12th.
This is why using rankings is alone is a joke.

Correct but what I’m trying to tell you is these ppl you’re arguong with aren’t interested in the least about facts. You’ve already seen one of them post “facts blah blah” that should tell you what they think of reality.

Who knows? Different years.
Ole Miss blew us out

See the problem is, you have made blanket statements that I haven't provided any stats (I have) and have failed to identify where, specifically, I am wrong. You have said I am making things up but have failed to specify what I have made up specifically. Am i to assume the parts you don't respond to are things you agree with, you kow like you said earlier?

I'll tell you what, you show me all the things I've made up, specifically, and maybe then you will know what an actual debate is. Otherwise, it's impossible to take you seriously.

lol the scarecrow living up to his name, I never said my opinion meant more than theirs I simply said it’s an opinion poll which it is. It means absolutely nothing it doesn’t get you closer to a goal, it doesn’t win anything for you or put you in position to win anything. It’s meaningless except for morons who put stock in meaningless polls. The AP just dropped the number 1 basketball team to number 2 after losing to an unranked opponent at home and you base everything on the opinions of ppl who did it. Very intelligent.

So all schedules are equal? Was UCF at 13-1 just slightly worse Alabama's at 14-1? Was Cincinnati at 11-2 more or less comparable with Oklahoma at 12-2? Or is context necessary to evaluate the relative strengths of those records? If only there was some poll out there where people did that

Pretty simple actually.
I know right? Which is why it's so odd you honestly think citing the collective record of an entire conference in two different years is persuasive

Sure it does.
It means people who know respect the team far more than the rentacops who post on TD.
I'm happy, you're not.

Where’s our 6th place in the opinion poll trophy? Surely we win something right? I mean we finished 5th in the SEC yet somehow because a “writer” placed us 6th in a mean glass poll it means we are better than where we actually finished right? So where that trophy? And where are all our other trophies for finishing wherever before?
