I think Coach has absolutely shown that he belongs at a power 5 school.

What Is negative about it? LSU is expected to win 9/10 games a year based on talent.in reality, LSU should win 11 a year as they are one of the top 5 talented teams in the nation.

Absolutely. Not once did I say this. But if you ask these stupid mother frickers in this thread, they will try to tell you the exact opposite.

Expecting 10 wins at LSU has absolutely nothing to do with Coach O.

When he was hired, I thought he should have had to prove it at a smaller school. He's proven it now though. Good for him too.

10 wins is the minimum expectation at LSU, but still isn't enough to keep your job as head coach. It takes titles to do that.

The media trashing LSU because Ed Orgeron was the head coach doesn't change that.

Meh, i won't say he has proven it until he is able to get LSU over the hump. He took over a talented team and he continued the success of the previous staff. Granted 9/10 wins seemed to be the peak for the previous staff but O needs to prove he can eclipse that.

I misunderstood what you were saying in your post I believe. I thought you were listing negative statements about Coach O and not your opinions.

The standard was set by the fan base who was calling for Les Miles' head and the administration who heeded their requests.

39-16 was the final 4 years and change of Miles tenure, and he was fired. Why? The titles were no longer coming. If LSU goes 10-3 over the next 2 seasons, that will put Orgeron at 39-13. If that comes with no titles, what happens then?

Doesnt matter how j would consider it. The SEC only uses tie breakers to determine 1st place.

Thats easy...

You blame Les Miles, Aranda, Moffitt, Wade, CPM for the 13 loss and give Orgeron a clean slate to start all over. By this time Esnminger may be retired, and you will then need to give Orgeron's next hire 5 years to get it figured out.

I’m just saying O over achieved this year based on preseason expectations.
Be happy.

Yet the SEC website lists LSU 3rd in the division.

I expect the exact same out of O as I did out of Les. I want a title run every other year or so and I don't ever expect to dip below 8 wins. If he can't handle that he needs to move on down the road.
