front 7 depth is elite.

But I t’s not

We are have depth but not elite depth. We have maybe 1 quality backup on the DL

After that it’s just bodies and a lot of freshmen

I mean, it's a half joke man. It's just a strange exercise to have to forget about something when thinking about the state of the program.

Well we were bad in OL because of the coaching switch, we lost like four or five. Also, he was hired as the DL coach so of course that should have been taken care of.

So in fairness, he's done the absolute minimum.

Year two needs to be actual improvement, not minimum requirements.

It’s been said on here numerous times that Etienne was never coming to LSU so find something else to legitimately grip about.

Your just full of shite. The depth an starters is as good as it’s been since 2011. This is per the coaches who know what kind of talent they have.

He doesn't seem to handle the criticism and pressure well that comes along with coaching a big time program. This season will tell an awful lot of what hes made of in all aspects of being the head man. He can become a hero or just another coach on the hot seat.

Who are the actual starters though? Ed and Lawrence are two. Logan played some, Ferrell played a tiny bit, but that's it for depth and starters. We lost 4 seniors from the three deep. We have barely any experience at all on DL, and depth will have little to no experience at all.

This is all purely speculation on how good or deep we will be here.

So let's say we lose a couple of games, is it then a best practice to say "Forget about those two games for a second.....,"?

That's how the o-fans handled the two early season losses last year. After the Mississippi State beat down, the o supporters kept bringing up the 2014 loss to Miss. State. Then, just days after the embarrassing loss to Troy, their rallying cry was forget about this loss, it's history, and that was almost always followed with, "well, don't forget about 1/9/12."

There was always an excuse for anything that went wrong so o didn't look bad. It won't be any different this coming season.

The fact that we have to have a conversations that starts with “forget O’s history” in it is appalling for LSU for a few reasons:
1. His time at ole miss
2. The yaw yaw/hummer guy is now the face of our program.
3. LSU has fallen to the point that 1 and 2 are true and we’ve accepted it.

You missed by point having 3 beast DL is great but we don’t have 3 more quality guys behind them.

We have like 1.

Neil and Logan didn’t impress anyone last season.

I always say if someone told you in 2008, after winning the NC that LSU would end up hiring Ed Orgeron, who had just been fired after a historically bad tenure at Ole Miss, you'd have had them admitted to a psychiatric institution.

Now people are just so at ease with it. It's weird.

What has he done? Worst recruiting class in a while. Worst defensive back depth in a while, worst RB talent in a long while. Hired an OC from within that no one wants. Has Mickey Joseph coaching.

I am willing to forget his history. He just needs to quit sucking

You are a clown. You might think the recruiting class was poor because some website tells you they were ranked low.
Why do you fail to wrap your head around the fact O addressed the trenches in a big way. You will never beat Bama without matching them in the trench FIRST.
You're one of the moronish nega O's because you like to ride that popularity train.

UGA addressed the trenches, signed just as many linemen as LSU and have a historically great class.

Could Coach Oeaux actually be the Bill Belicheck of college football? There may be a method to his madness after all.

Remember Belicheck failed spectacularly at Cleveland. And, now you know...the rest of the story.

They were 11-5 the year before the lame duck season before the Baltimore move. Certainly not a spectacular fail.
