For those upset about the 230 start time…

Remember lsu’s 2019 game vs bama started at 230, and that game was basically night time for the entire second half! Death Valley will be perfect that night!

1. That game was in Tuscaloosa, not Tiger Stadium. Big difference.
2. Tuscaloosa is a good distance north as well as a good distance east; thus it get darker earlier there in the 1st week of November.

The fact that 2019 was a 2:30 game works against your advocacy. The point is that the earlier time suppresses the home crowd. And the home crowd’s team lost that game.
I’m not a big believer in that stuff - it’s probably true that the night games favor the home team when the home team is not well coached, but well coached teams win with execution more than exertion, at least compared to poorly coached teams.

People can’t blame getting home past midnight due to the traffic when they leave early
