It's a wonderful time to be a Tiger fan if all we have to complain bout is which QB should direct our offense that's scoring just bout 40 a game and has helped LSU to a 13-0 record, an SEC title, and a birth in the BCSCG.

People construct some fantasies that fit their agenda. Lee threw two INTs vs Bama, JJ threw one vs Arkansas and had three that should have been picked vs UGA.
Neither is better than the other, yet there are still idiots who believe this to be true. They are situational QB's and were uses as such in the heart of the year last year. Neither is a compete QB.
Both have limitations in the passing game, neither will be throwing footballs in the NFL or passing for 300 yds in the NCAA again. Accept it and move on, Mettenberger is the future, LSU foudn a way to work around these two, this year
Les has his reasons for benching Lee, and that is between those two. Head scratching, you bet, but he owes us nothing.

I dont think Les owes anyone an explanation. He is the coach!
However I dont see why the JJ fanbois so vehenmently attack anyone who has the opinion that Lee should be the starting qb?
I thought people were allowed to have differing opinions?
Again Les is the coach but coaches arent infallible. See Lord Nick Saban starting Booty over Rohan in 2000.
Also if you cant see Lee being held to a different level of accountability you dont want to see it. JJ stunk it up for 7 consecutive games in 2010 and the Ga game this year and never lost his starting job. Lee had one bad game versus Bama and is immediately benched.

Do you really think we couldnt? He had a bad few series against Bama that is all he played. JJ has played numerous games and has had way more bad games/series than JL.
We actually might need a qb who can hit open receivers vs Bama. Or one that can get a first down in an entire half!

How can you say that about JL? We do know that we can expect that from JL, he did a great job for 9 games... without question he is capable of executing the short passing game... use both qb's, it works for us..

I simply cannot fathom how or why 'fans' can be so ungrateful to a coach that has given them an 13-0 season and spot in the national championship game. Lou Hotlz could be the fricking QB and I wouldn't give a shite if we were not only undefeated, but destroying 95% of our competetion.
I mean really, what planet are you guys living on? A 9 page thread on the coach owing explanantions to the fanbase 2 days after destroying a top 20 team in the conference championship.......

Kinda like the portion of the fanbase that still blames the Oline, WR's, coaches and fans when JJ plays like he did Sat nite!

Yes - Corn Dawg is right - the fanbase shouldn't care how you get to 13-0 - it does not matter if you shaft the player that got you to 8-0 - or have 1 (or even 10) starting accused batterers - winning is all that counts - grow some hair on your peaches corn dawg!!!

I find it amusing how the same people screaming les doesn't owe any explanation probably didn't feel that way when we had 2 defensive coordinators or Gary crowtons offense. I'm enjoying the season but don't tell me somebody making 5 mil per year is absolved from having to answer questions.

Didn't LSU win the game by a large margin? The offense collectively looked like crap in the first half for a number of reasons..... Kind of dumb to point at JJ solely although he was struggling along with everyone else.....
