Uh the difference being Lee had one off game in 9 starts, JJ 1 in 4 which is actually better than JJ historically has been
:omg:
Lee 62.3 comp. % 7.82 ypa 152.0 QB rating
JJ 60.2 comp. % 8.24 ypa 150.9 QB rating

That's not exactly accurate. Lee was the most efficient passer in the SEC prior to the Bama game and his eventual benching in lieu of Jefferson.

Miles owes us an explanation because tickets ain't free, merch ain't free, and parking ain't even free anymore. We're paying that fat salary he's getting - so YES, he does owe us an explanation when he stabs a fifth year senior in the back and defies logic by not pulling a BAD quarterback out of the game when he's got a perfectly good one standing there. Hells yes, the man owes the world and explanation.
Watching the OSU & OU game I was reminded that Les and Stoops are equally hard-headed and arrogant. OU's starter was playing the worst game of his life and killing the team, but, Stoops WOULD NOT put in the backup kid. With two minutes left, when all was lost, he put in the backup QB and the kid did a rollout to the right and took it thirty yards ON HIS FIRST PLAY for OU's only touchdown of the game. I firmly believe if Stoops would've swapped QB's at the half, they could have won that game.
If Miles plays JJ against Alabama and ignores Lee again, there's NO way we're going to end up with another glass football.

I still don't think the ball came out late. It was a horrible route by OBJ, Boykin squatted on that route. See I think he has progressed very nicely. More than JL in fact. What people fail to realize is that the coaches were hiding JL the first 8 games. We only saw short routes and go routes. Nothing in between the hashes. This is how you protect a QB. We all see that JJ throws all the routes(not saying he throws them well) and he runs JLs limited package and the real package which is a multiple look. JL did his job which was to hold down the fort until JJ came back he did it. Congrats. At the end of the day JJ adds more value to this offense!

No one was bitching when Jlee was starting earlier this season, wasn't a reason to.
Now there is griping BC JJ reverted back ti what we've seen since he has been here.
Can't say it enough, 4 more qrter and it ends.
Choctaw, the link... I need it.
Come on quit stalling.

It really is sad that you would want a season to end so bad especially one like this because you are so butthurt about your favorite player not playing as much as you think he should.
Get some perspective man

Please tell me what game JL won for us this year.
This team does not win with QB play. It wins with great defense, a power running game, and solid special teams.

How much more undefeated can we be with Lee in at QB?

We can agree to disagree on the buttonhook. I agree with your assessment on them protecting JL as I have said with the limited amount of offense they gave him. However, JL would have thrown that ball on time. He is significatly better at the short passing game when he knows where he is going with the ball. They both have significant drawbacks, which I am wondering if it coaching.
If you think JJ has progressed nicely, go back and watch the 2009/2010 films. Looks the same. Same issues, same procession/progression problems. It is, well, ugly.
Personally, I believe Mett adds more to the offense than either, but, alas, we won't know until next year.

Dont think they have won any only because of Lee or JJ just havent had to win any in spite of Lee!

His lack of character comes from continually lying about trying to put Lee in. He says he's going to get him in on the 3rd series, then backtracks and says the game didn't dictate it. If 7 3 and outs didn't dictate a change to give the team a spark then nothing short of a career ending injury to Jefferson will ever dictate putting Lee in the game.
The only people Miles owes anything to in this situation are the guys that suit up and play, he doesn't owe the fans anything. I agree he has used poor judgement in saying things that haven't come true that fuels the fire, but he doesn't owe the fans anything. Nothing...in this situation.
He would probably be better advised to STFU when asked about Lee however by the field reporters. It's in his own best interest.

Agreed. But I expect we will need more from the position to beat Bama a second time, even if it didn't require much from the position the first time around.
Defense/special teams scored 5 or 6 touchdowns in the final 3 games. Hopefully one of the two puts 7 on the board on Jan. 9.

Thanks for clearing that up captain obvious I am sure most on here were confused by the lack of production by the number 9 on the field Saturday and thought it was Ego Ferguson!
