You win all of your games vs a schedule with major conference opponents, you deserve a certain level of respect. ND has earned their ranking.

I would favor all of the projected playoff teams vs LSU on a neutral field. Picking teams that would "surely beat us" is a high standard to meet. No one would've picked UF to surely beat us and they did.

We would’ve lost that Miss St game if they had a half decent QB

Most teams would be quite pleased to have their qback. They've put up a lot of points on a lot of teams.

Not many teams would be a lock to beat us so I agree with the ranking. But outside of Bama and Clemson I think there’s a lot of parity across CFB

Lsu has a chance against anyone if the refs call it down the line and don’t suspend our players prior to the game.

Alabama & Clemson. Maybe Notre Dame. I think we could handle business against Michigan

You earn a playoff spot. You do not get there by 'hypotheticals' such as 'which teams can beat LSU.'

Well... a lot of teams can beat LSU, as long as they can score 21+ points. LSU's offense is terrible. So that concept should be out the window.

Furthermore, LSU has two losses. Therefore any P5 team with 1 or fewer losses is ahead of LSU for a playoff spot, rightfully so.

Be careful. That makes way too much sense for this board.

am sure all would say Alabama, but after that, on a neutral field, we would have a good chance of beating anyone else.

No put down the crack pipe homie. We cant beat Bama or Clemson for sure and i also would put ND in that category. So thats 3 teams that would beat us. Would have to open up the offense to beat Michigan.

“Surely” beat us? There are 25 teams about whom you could say, “There are not 4 teams who could ‘surely’ beat them.” Does that mean we have 25 playoff teams?

Bama obviously

Michigan and Clemson would get us. I've said previously, but Clemson and Michigan are complete teams.

I saw somebody mention what happened when Michigan played Indiana, just see the circumstances. Michigan has to play in what is considered a top 3 biggest historical rivalry in all of college football on the road the next week. The winner is likely playoff bound. Michigan is assuredly playoff bound with the win. It was a huge trap game, and they still won by 11. We wouldn't be able to do shite offensively, and they'd score just enough to get the win.

Notre Dame would likely beat us too. Both ND and LSU are better than last year, and they beat us last year on a neutral field.

LSU could score on Oklahoma, but they would still beat us. Oklahoma's offense is ridiculously good, and I mean ridiculously! Their offense is actually better than it was last year, which is crazy because they hung 31 on the road last year vs a 15th ranked Ohio St scoring D and then on neutral site, hung 48 on a 6th ranked UGA scoring D.

UGA is much better now than when they played us, but I'd still consider that a toss up.

Realistically 5 teams would beat us neutral site and 2 more (UGA/Ohio St) would be a toss up.

We aren't a playoff team unless they expand it to 6-8. We have major pieces that we are missing.
