For those saying we are not a playoff team, which 4 Teams would surely beat us?

I am sure all would say Alabama, but after that, on a neutral field, we would have a good chance of beating anyone else.

Clemson would give us a run.

The other two, depends on which team shows up. If it's the Notre Dame team that almost lost to Vandy, then yeah, we should win.

Michigan, I don't know. Patterson has been pretty darn good this season but they struggled with Indiana last week.

Those two could go either way, I guess.

Bama and Clemson are better teams than us. They would beat us this year unless something weird happened. I feel like we can beat any other team in the country.

None of them except Alabama. I think Clemson would be close.

Ehhh we would probably lose to ND and Michigan as well. We would’ve lost that Miss St game if they had a half decent QB. I want Ohio State or UCF in whichever bowl game. Also neutral site, Georgia probably beats us too.

Oklahoma would score 40 on us... I doubt we could keep up with that offense even though their D is garbage.....

That’s crazy you just assume we would have lost the miss state game as well. Actually it’s ridiculous. We played terrible and conservative all night and still won. You assume if they had a decent qb they would have won? So your assuming this fictional qb had a good game and you’re assuming our team play terrible in this fictional game? God I dislike so many of our fans

Alabama for obvious reasons. Clemson because they can score and we would have a tough time moving the ball on their defense. We would beat Notre Shame. I think we would beat Michigan too. I’m not buying into the whole Michigan bandwagon yet. I don’t think they’re that good. I honestly would not want to play Georgia again. Oklahoma would be interesting because their offense is very good but their defense would make our offense look as good as theirs. Anyone else left in consideration I think we could beat

Played on a neutral field these 4 would win (against this current team, not next years):

Alabama (5/5 games played)

Clemson (4/5 games played)

Nortre Dame (it would be a close game LSU should have won) (3/5 games played)

Michigan (2.5/5 games played)

Nortre Dame and Michigan are 50/50 toss ups. LSU could and should beat ND 5/5 games. But the Irish have a 4-leaf clover recently that bites LSU in the rear at the end of every game. Michigan has a DL capable of getting after the QB. And with the challenges LSU is having on the OL, it’s hard to read a game like this.

LSU has the D to slow down EVERY offense including Alabama. After these 4, none of the other teams have a D capable of stopping LSU’s offense from grinding out enough points to win, and LSU’s D would score pick-6 on their pass happy offenses.

It would be like 2003 all over again. LSU would beat UGA again in a neutral field rematch, with the current UGA QB. If the started their freshman duel threat, he would be confused against LSU’s D and turn the ball over like J.Lee 2008.

We don't match up with bama well at all. It would be a repeat of the last game where our offense would be garbage again. Clemson is the only team in the field that can give Bama a game. Clemson would be favored over us but I wouldn't count us out against them and ND/Mich would be tossups.

Mich matches up well against Bama but we'd match up well against Mich.

We didn’t beat ND last year and I doubt we would this year.

Alabama and Clemson. The rest of the Top 12 is a crab shoot.

With our putrid offense. Any team ranked ahead of can beat us. Heck Any team ranked in the top 25 can beat us.

Not so sure about Clemson. Darn near lost to Syracuse and aTm played thEm tough. Think we would get them. IMHO, only Bama would have an advantage. Yes, humble opinion.
