It is an absolute shite hole. I’ve been there many times and driven that country and that area many many times. There is nothing in that town worth of shite including the university. It’s a dumpster fire when you look at it in terms of facilities. The only motivation Denbrock would have is for family reasons and money. I just don’t believe it’s about money.
Freeman has proved to be a mediocre coach.

Lol, and I'm sure Denbrock thinks Baton Rouge is a shithole. Why are people so bitter about this? He's not leaving because he dislikes LSU.

I’m not bitter about it at all. Nothing in my post said I’m bitter about it. I’m just saying he’s not leaving for money or the area. It would be for family reasons and that’s about it. Personally, I don’t care because I know LSU is in a much better place than Notre Dame is facility, wise, and leadership wise. so if he wants to go, don’t let the door hit him in the arse.

Because it puts us in a seriously fricked up, uncertain position when we’re on the verge of signing the #1 QB, RB, and WR next year and going on an offensive tear for the foreseeable future.

Then why’s he leaving? Because he can’t pass up the opportunity to work for Marcus Freeman who’s going to get fired in 3 years and make less money? It’s a slight to LSU and Louisiana at the least and I don’t really think that’s an emotional statement

Anyone who dismisses this statement is naive - A&M and now ND and for a lateral move and arguably the same money. Stop saying it’s about going home. There is nothing that would indicate that.

Agreed, but BR is no paradise either.

Are you out of your mind? How the hell is this a slight to anything? It may be that he has grandkids in that area. It may be that he has elderly parents in that area. It may be 1000 other reasons why he wants to go back to a shite hole school with a shite hole area surrounding it. Again I’ve been there many times I can tell you there’s nothing about that area that is attractive. This has nothing to do with Baton Rouge, Louisiana or LSU. Who gives a freak anyway, as this is always about Joe Sloan and nothing nothing else. Keeping Joe Sloan was priority one.

Then he would’ve went to Texas A&M. Because we know they have better facilities and a better surrounding area than south Bend. You’ve never been there. I can promise you it is a shite hole. So there is only one reason why he would leave LSU for Notre Dame. It ain’t about money or facilities because Texas A&M was a much much more enticing offer.

I love how you’re asking me if I’m out of my mind because I’m speculating that a guy who’s spent 30+ years out of his 35 year career specifically in the midwest probably doesn’t like Louisiana any more than I like visiting the midwest, meanwhile your entire post is incoherent speculation about how he loves the Midwest and Louisiana almost equally but Louisiana slightly less which makes no sense in the context of his move

My post was about the Midwest being the reason which may be because of family and NOT MONEY. Otherwise, he would be at TAMU (no state tax) or LSU.
