Remember last year when Coach went with the main 5-6 pitchers that he trusted at the end of last year (routinely were pitching well). And that won a College World Series.

He will do that and is doing that again now.

Jump, Holman, Herring, Ack, Little, and Guidry will be getting the lion’s share of work until they aren’t available.

Edit: Add Uloa based on recent performances

Fidel and Moffett will play a big role as well. Fidel could turn into a postseason legend because

I'd bet we don't see Moffett unless we're deep in the pen late into this tournament.

The list will have to be a little longer this year than last year because we don't have guy consistently going 8+ innings each start right now.

Fortunately, we have more guys rounding into shape at this point this year than we did last year.

Understood but a shortened outing from Jump or Holman going forward would be a scary ride regardless.

Definitely not how it will be drawn up

I thinj that will get stretched a bit this year if/when we are in the regional.

Last year we were lucky enough to have Paul go 9 vs Tulane and Floyd and Hurd go 8 vs Oregon State.

Now I think the idea would be
Jump- Herring/Little
Holeman- Herring/Little
Game 3 everyone else.

if we lost a game it will be all hands on deck.

Good luck getting to those thread-starters. They don't read anything on this site. They immediately login and hit Start Topic

Think Hurd will start if we get to winners bracket game on Thursday. If he can find it, look out. If not…… you know who you have next week and if you get to the supers. Once in Omaha all bets are off.

Anderson has appeared in 5 SEC games and I don't think he's had a good outing. I think Anderson will be a really good pitcher, but he isn't there yet.

Moffet has been decent in SEC play and has better numbers than Guidry.
