I don't think he was actually off sides, but it was very close. It looks bad in the still shot due to the angle of the camera (which makes the black line drift to the right as you move up). But if you go vertically up from the tip of the football (note the red line in picture to the right), you can see that he wasn't over the football.

EDT: Not that it matters.

I said the same thing as it happened. My buddy yelled frick he jumped offsides, and I said he jumped up but not offsides.

Doesn't matter. No call. Interception. Ball game.

I'm in Austin!

It was a great weekend for me, personally.

TCU beat UT and LSU beat aTm.

Loved it!

Ummmm...that's an interesting perspective you got there. Just wondering why the line you drew isn't parallel to the line on the field!!??????

23-17 LSU is all that matters. Just like I think we got robbed again in the Bama game but 20-13 is all that counts.

Because the line I drew is vertical, just like the camera. Our player is directly in front of the football. All that matters is whether his head is directly over the football or if as is shown in the picture he doesn't get that far. The black line put in by the TV crew is meaningless. It shows where a foot on the ground would cross the line of scrimmage, not where the line would be 3 feet higher where our players head is positioned.

EDT: That little bit of the line that is directly in front of him that matters.

Yeah, I know... But at least it's something to talk about other that engaging in the equally pointless arguments over whether we should keep our HC.

Hard to tell because their shite stadiums broadcast camera isn't situated on the 50 yard line

It was close. QB should not have thrown a hail mary without a flag.

For the record LSU was "hosed" on 5 (some major) infractions that cost LSU downs and field position. So, even if it was a missed call, let us break down ALL the blown calls. Otherwise, IDGAF

When I saw the replay, I thought that the center rocked his head back. Had he not done that and our guys helmet had crossed the center's helmet, I think the refs would have called it.

But, I still think we were offsides.

No... That's why I posted on the Tiger rant as opposed to the SEC rant.
