You’re right but it isn’t basketballs job to police the football team. Sacrificing something that had nothing to do with the actual problem doesn’t fix the problem.

No, but the problem was already gone and it sure looks like the NCAA was leveraging football to get at Wade. Virtually every AD in LSU's position would have done the same thing. It sucks but I come down in the camp of the risks drove the decision for LSU. I know we probably do not agree, at least not fully.

Yea, you don’t have any idea what you’re talking about and are factually incorrect. I mean yea we could’ve isolated in the post more on some occasions but your description of the offense, our efficiency and lmfao our transition game reads like some Wade hater fantasy from a person who’s never seen those teams play or has never watched basketball period. You have to try to be as wrong as you are.

I’m not saying you can’t justify it. I get why he did it but it was a weak move. He knew what was going on with football but instead of nipping that in the bud he let it fester and basketball took the hit for his complicity in the corruption.

If we had a decent mens basketball program, people would stop the WW praise

There were legit criticisms of Wade. Couldn’t figure out what type of defense he wanted to play in the 2 seasons after the SEC title. Didn’t like to throw it into the post even when we had a big advantage there. Tried to play small too much. Had some situational issues because of a reliance on analytics. Nobody’s saying he was perfect but what that retard is saying just isn’t true and comes from his imagination.

Agreed.

We made the NCAAT twice in the 10 seasons prior to Wade and zero times in the 3 since his firing. That’s 2 times in those 13 seasons.

In Wade’s 5 seasons, LSU made the NCAAT 4 times (including the covid tournament cancellation as LSU was in).

It’s clear when you look at lack of success prior and post, why the topic still exists.

If CoachMc was 40-14 in the SEC and not 14-40, no one would be saying shite about Wade.

At this point Woody needs to swallow his pride after that footlong from subway and just make the call. He can spin it as saying everyone deserves a 2nd chance yada yada yada let he without sin cast the first stone. Get him back. I was mad at him for putting us in this situation but I hate losing more

I thought most of the football NOAs were for things that occurred under the previous idiot AD.

How LSU ever thought hiring the guy who botched the Duke rape allegations was a good choice is beyond me.

Some of it was for sure but we paid a ton in fines to reduce the Football violations which redacted some of the details there.

Quadruple down. Anyone with eyes can see it. They don't even understand the basics of passing the ball back-and-forth on a fast break.

Such a dumbass hyperbolic statement.

This is really pathetic that you arguing about fast break spacing.

Do you normally struggle with basic logic? That Was just one of the obvious deficiencies in coaching skills displayed. In fact I would say this says the most damaging info there is. Most high schools have this down. I've watched enough of three on one fast breaks where the same guy is gonna keep the ball the entire time and the lone defender Just waits for him as he does an awkward attempt at a layup while falling on his back and missing the shot

I'm not with the WW hype because I think we can do better. I remember the teams well from 1980 up to 2010. Some did a little better than just make the tournament. To me WW teams were close to slightly above average. John Brady was a ton better and so was Dale.

I'm Honestly surprised you can wipe your own arse. Maybe you received too many participation trophies growing up. Idk. Nothing I said was incorrect. But since you called me a retard, never mind I take it all back! Lmao.
Don't worry Jesus still loves you.

Brady literally had 1 year of great success with all local kids and was here WAY longer than ww.

This is a fantasy. Just look at the rate of making the tournament before and after ww’s tenure compared to his.
