I said last night that I believe this is his last season but don't think firing him right now does anything positive for the season.
so what change for you from all preseason until last night?
after all the shite you spewed, you are going to sit here and say this 1 game has changed your opinion?

that act like miles' entire tenure was a failure.
It hasn't been and I am not one of those.....His time has come and gone.....

The only concern is that often, when this shite happens, kids basically quit. If it looks like that begins, you have to fire him mid season for the good of the players.
I agree with that

A good guy kept his job one year too late because he used to win big here. That was all that ever mattered, Lester.

Yeah it pretty much did. I believed we would see a more open offense and what I saw was worse. It pains me to watch Brandon Harris play quarterback and that line is pitiful.

"You aren't a coach. How can you tell if it was more open or not?"
-Every Beefense post that ignored the problem from before September 4, 2016.

The least you could do is acknowledged that those of us who said nothing would change clearly had a point.
Just because it took you until yesterday to figure it out doesn't mean that's the first day it could be figured out.

I've actually never posted that before.

That's only if one agrees you aren't also Gray Tiger.

We don't necessarily have to fire him while the season is going on, but they need to be lining up their guy while the season is going on. Whoever comes here will have a treasure chest of talent even with the guys we lose. Just get the new guy here when the season is over and as long as that person knows how to use talent and make in-game adjustments, we'll be sitting pretty compared to where we are sitting right now.

You and Gray Tiger compare notes? I can't believe you are being critical of an LSU coach!! He is a professional and he's getting paid millions. What do you know?

You're being a good sport BeeFense.
I too defended it all. No more.
I'm not watching another game. I quit watching most of the last year, and haven't spent a dime on a ticket since 1/9/12.
Yet I kept defending.
No more. This team regressed big time. The pattern is to continue to decline during the season, not improve.
I'm done. I'll watch CFB and I'll enjoy it for what it is. I'm just no longer entertained by LSU's archaic offense. High School teams run more innovative offenses than this.

Don't drag the thing out. Fire him mid season and let everyone move on with their lives. if you know you're going to do it just do it. Take a lesson from Jeremy foley.

Sure you will watch..... If you don't then you are one of the SPOILED little LSU homers that expects them to win every game.... But that cool.... LSU doesn't need fans like YOU anyway.......

Yesterday tells you that yes, it is perfectly plausible that on 1/9, Miles let being a stubborn a-hole affect his decision making.
It tells you that it's perfectly plausible this has been an ongoing problem for him.
Basically. It tells you that what his detractors have been saying for a long time CANNOT be summarily dismissed.
It is clearly a character flaw he has.

I'm fine with either, but I'm saying that it's not going to make that much difference when it comes to getting the guy we want. Either way, we're going to have to wait to the end of the season to get anyone worth a shite.

I've been, variously, a Les defender, a "FIRE LES" advocate (in the 09-10 range) and somewhere in the middle. I've probably defended him more often than not.
It doesn't require pulling out the media guide to tell that Les Miles' tenure has been the most successful decade of football in the history of this program. But its also clear that the game has passed Les by and he refuses to adapt. If you don't adapt, you die. Yesterday we died.
Michigan kept Lloyd Carr too long, Penn State kept Paterno too long, Texas kept Mack Brown too long. Those programs paid the price for their inaction, and I'm starting to get worried that we'll be added to that list.
Its hard to unceremoniously run off a coach with that level of success in major college football. We had our chance to do it "ceremoniously" last year and didn't. Now its gonna be ugly. And it sucks.

"It's just a football game" is what losers say when they know they give a huge shite about it and they can't justify why they lost the game to a team they should have beaten. That's such a pussy response. We all know it's a game dude but we all love this game and lsu football. We don't accept the shitshow we see on Saturdays and are pissed about it. We have the right to be furious about the product we have seen on the field. This is lsu you dumbfrick. We have all of the resources anyone could hope for and we get shite on again by this idiot les miles. So stfu and gtfo with the "it's only a football game" bitch made comments. You were wrong and we lost a game we had no business losing...AGAIN. pussy.
