I have been to every scrimmage and some practices. Now close your eyes and imagine Danny Etling last year with not as strong an arm and you have Burrow. He’s big, strong and is reasonably accurate but Brennan is a far superior passer with better foot work, release and pocket presence. Burrow will start and Brennan will finish.

Not as strong of an arm as Etling?

All the tape I've seen on Burrow disagrees. He appears more mobile and more physically opposing then Etling as well. What makes him similar to Etling other than he's white?

Unfortunately the report cited that he had the bone density of Joe Theisman.

Well if what you say is true than you would have to be blind not see the absolute difference between when Brennan throws the ball and when Burrow throws the ball. Brennan’s release is lightning fast and the ball is a laser in the air. Burrow is nowhere close. You can’t deny that or would not be truthful. That’s all I am saying and therefore superior talent will one day win out.

I have no doubt Brennan has the stronger arm, maybe even substantially.

But tell me about accuracy and decision making. I'm honestly asking, because those are supposed to be Burrow's strengths.

Trump says Burrow is so good he's ok with him kneeling.

But only him.

I went to one practice. He looks to be a little bit better than Etling, but it’s hard to tell since it was practice. I think he will give us our best shot at beating Bama since Mettenberger. Our O line will be the rate limiting step...again.

I heard from my guy that he looks like a combination of Joe Montana's leadership, Tom Brady's ability to win at all costs, Brett Favre's ability to improvise, with Peyton Manning's laser focus and dedication. And apparently he wears fur coats and makes declarations about winning like Joe Namath or something

Add also Favre’s physical toughness and Drew Brees’ mental toughness.

I’ve been to a scrimmage and many practices. Brennan has improved dramatically and throws a much better ball .Burrow is just a game manager with adequate arm and a better grasp of where to,go with the ball via presnap reads w SE harps on. Burrow is much more aware of the rush and keeps his head downfield extending many plays with his feet. JB will no doubt start but MB could be the guy by mid season . The other two were right to go because they were both way behind. I’m ready for Dallas

From what I have seen, Burrow is very good with decision making and has a nice touch on his passes (not a super-tight spiral or the strongest arm, but in the right spot and really easy to catch which is important). Also, when he decides to run, there is no hesitation. He takes off and gets a lot of yards in a hurry.

With our defense, we don't need a guy that throws fantastic hail marys. We need a guy that makes good decisions, moves the chains, and keeps the defense honest. Burrow seems more than capable of being that guy. Brennan is just so light and still shaky with any bit of pass rush. The final verdict is still out on Burrow, though, until the lights come on. I would imagine that we'll know the verdict by half time against Miami. I wouldn't be surprised to see Brennan in the 2nd half if things aren't going well for Burrow. O realizes the leash isn't long enough to sit on a dud.

Burrow has a better arm than Etling.

Burrow is more accurate than Brennan.

I expect Burrow to start and run the ball a good bit.

You forgot the accuracy of Drew Brees.
Unfortunately he doesn't have the Offensive Line of Montana, Brady, Farve, Manning, Namath or Brees; nor the College equivalent. (Bama, Wisconsin, Ohio.State, Clemson…….)

Burrow will only be as good as the OL. Unfortunately, there aren't any Whitworth's, Faneca's, Andolsek's or Pocic's around. (Miles & Grimes couldn't even hold on to Womack and he's been starting at RT for Bama since his RS Freshman season)

The program is right there close to SEC West Championship caliber at all positions except for the remedial OL class that's significantly behind their classmates.

Keep your eyes glued to the OL in the Miami game to see if Cregg is a Miracle Worker or not. I'll be a disappointing season if he's not...………….
