He's Nicky without the connections down here. We don't recruit well against Saban as it is.

There is not one coach other than Saban whom anyone here could GUARANTEE will do a better job than Miles. FACT.

WOW... His name alone and what he has done at the pro level will mean crazy recruits... HELL he could come in NEXT year and LSU would win the NC...

What could be considered a legitimate reason for firing CLM? The buyout states he can't be fired "without cause." Not trying to flame or troll, I really don't understand contracts.

He needs to be setup in a scandal then we could get rid of him but would face sanctions. Might be with it though..

Guz Malzahn would leave Auburn in a heart beat for this gold mine

I highly doubt this, but I wonder if he might consider it. It is easier to recruit here than competing with Bama for in-state recruits, and Gus loved BHarris in the recruiting cycle. But he isn't going to leave AU. And I really don't need to consider it, I don't want to get my hopes up that Miles will actually leave

1. he has coached in the Super Bowl, and i think it would be surprising to see him go back to the college level
2. He seems to prefer the west coast
3. I would be surprised if he went to a college that isn't Michigan if he does come back to college football
4. he would have to work just as hard if not harder. NFL coached don't recruit.

I don't disagree that he would be a great hire, i think he is probably one of the top 5 college coaches, but i think he is going to stay in the NFL

As others have said, Les just needs to be the CEO of the team, get a new OC, and let the OC do his job without any interference from Les.
