See, that's actually funny.
People who are worried about others doing this sort of shite seem more insecure than those buying the shirts, but maybe that's just me.

Shirts are nothing more than a piece of memorabilia.
Not that big a deal.
Overall, I get your main point, and I agree that our fanbase needs to learn to be comfortable with being an elite program, but typically our fans anger me with their lack of confidence in winning games, not with buying memorabilia from big wins or bowl games or championships.
The shirts tend to generate conversation too. Either with the opposition's fanbase or with our own.
Overall, I like the idea of the shirts, but understand you bigger point.

Agreed. Do you really care whats on another dude's tshirt? I showed a guy from AL a picture of that "Alabama State Champs and he loved/hated it. He thought it was clever.

Yea those shirts make us look like Boise after they beat Georgia. It makes us look like we didn't expect to win and we are so grateful that it was fate that we did.

are u serious that they are making these shirts and people are buying them? No wonder every recruit wants to go there not only do we talk about them all the time but we are actually putting them on a pedestool like this thats embarrassing the we want bama chant was bad enough.
You guys need to lighten up. Bama is the absolute worst when it comes to making t-shirts boasting their accomplishments (recruiting national champs, cheerleading champs, nose picking champs, whatever).
Bama had shirts printed up when they beat LSU in 2008 and 2009, so they are equally obsessed with us.

I live in Bama and today I am wearing one of those shirts. If you don't live here then you don't know what it is like. The shirt stays on.

REALLY?! Before you start bashing people for their clothing choices, how 'bout you get an education (even if it's not from LSU) and maybe a dictionary to double check yourself?
Pedestal. Moron.

I have to agree with this. Looks silly! Something Tulane fans would do & wear if they ever beat us again.

I think you guys are reading too much into the shirts.
Sorta like buying a keepsake/souvenir to either be a conversation piece/representation of a good memory.
you see people all the time with shirts that have a vacation spot, restaurant, bar, event, etc...
I don't think the shirts represent anything more than that type of symbolism.
