Wow. Maneri is living his life. You should try and do the same.

After 2009, Manieri kept a REAL low profile. Glad he was replaced by Jay Johnson…

Where in my post did I suggest anything negative about CPM or his actions?

My apologies. I kinda thought the whole point of an LSU message board was to talk about past, present or future Tigers. My bad.

Losing his father really took a lot out of him. They were very close. After retiring from baseball he just wanted to be close to his family. Can't really blame him. The older we get the longer we have our parents and loved ones alive with us, makes it harder when they pass away.

Then my apologies too. I thought you were taking a passive aggressive jab at the man.

Considering at least half the fanbase hated him, not sure why he would want to be too public any more.

That seems to be the definition of all coaches in the eyes of idiot LSU fans.

…this doesn’t make him special or unique. This fanbase irrationally hates a lot of people.

No probably not that much hate but most everyone who knows baseball was very happy when Scott W convinced him that his neck was causing more pain than just his and it was time to retire.
PM knows that much of Tiger fans know the truth.
Thanks PM for one Natty. Sorry that you couldn't get us 2-3 more that we should have won.

Skip is old as shite

Paul… not really. Very plausible he could coach somewhere lower profile in a few years. Remember Ron Maestri, Wayne Graham, LaRussa, etc. it’s not like he’s out there playing.

He knows he was not very well liked here locally. No demand for him.
