I currently have 6 season tickets for a family of 5

Home games that are worth all of us going. Bama, OleMiss and Tennessee. Thats 3 games for about $4,500 where you would more than likely either not go or get damn near free tickets to the other games.

Deep Thoughts

Miss too many games on tv just to attend one……lot of money and time consumed. Young people get out there and root for the Tigahs!!!!

exactly.

Buy tickets on the secondary market for the game(s) you actually want to see. You'll come out WAY ahead.

Yep, makes no financial sense at all. Only upside is sitting in a section where you know everyone and tix have been in your family for years. The nostalgia doesnt really outweigh the financial burden to me anymore. It hasnt made financial sense in years but I always justified paying the extra money bc I was financially supporting LSU athletics. But time and time again they have shown they dont really respect our money with the financial decisions they make. So that justification has lost me now too.

I was curious if anyone that cancelled/said they will not renew their season tickets in 2021 have changed their mind since the BK hire.

2024 is gonna be a huge year in Tiger Stadium. UCLA game and normal SEC opponents (Bama/Ole Miss) might include UT or OU. Plus kicking off season in Vegas against USC

Then drop the Season Tickets and just buy single game or stub hub for those 3 games. It’s what I do because I agree that it’s not worth it unless you wanna be a booster.

I'm going to keep my 4 for 1 more year because I have a teenager who may want to take friends. If she shows no interest this year, I will drop mine and watch from the tailgate. Or get them off stub hub.

I go to almost every game, sit where I choose. Pay less than face on average and have zero TAF fees

welcome to 2003. With winning comes surcharges and all the other BS. 80% of the people I know that had season tickets then buy single game or pkg tickets now.

I will reorder my 2 NEZ season tickets for the 42nd year, 2022. As per the last several years, I will give away tickets to at least 3 games usually to teens in my neighborhood.

WE have fball, MBB, WBB, and baseball season tickets. Fball will probably be the first to go and MBB will be the last to go.

Yeah I understand your position. I mean your time is so valuable what with you busy saving the world and all that you can't waste it by cheering and enjoying a fall afternoon watching the Tigers play just because you are a fan.

And getting free tickets saves you the bother of actually supporting LSU football in a meaningful way. Other than fist bumping your buds when "we" win a game, that is.

What LSU needs are more "fans" like you.

Truly amazing times as I can remember when season tickets were passed down to family members as part of a will. People would do anything to get them........and would keep them for life.

Sign of the times.

If it is purely a financial move then yes it’s not worth it. You can stay home or pick up cheaper tickets at the game. If you want to view it as support for LSU and maintaining a top athlete program then buy the tickets ( and tradition fund ).

Hopefully more people think that way than the way you do.
