Having contact with coaches and coaches leaving contracts are 2 different things. Im sure if jimbo announces he is LSU coach today or after the ACC championship game changes the buy out. I dont remember any coach announcing leaving for another program until after the regular season. I would guess contract years include the conference championship game.

Even if this is true, there are plenty of other coaches out there. Jimbo not coming doesn't alter that Les needs to be run

Was I the only one who knew from the start the Fisher wasn't coming to LSU? I mean, it was pretty obvious:
• He has a great gig at FSU--probably better than he could EVER HAVE at LSU
• FSU would do anything they could to keep him there--LSU would've had to literally double or triple his salary to get him to make a move
Fisher stays at FSU--that was a no brainer from the very beginning

If jimbo stays or jimbo goes. The first thing that has to happen is a vacancy at LSU. No one knows for sure on any of this. All indications are that les is gone. If jimbo was to come to LSU im sure the only people that know are jimbo and his agent. I doubt he would tell anyone else.
He has 1 game left to coach. I have never seen a coach announce he was leaving for another program AND coach another game for his current school.
I doubt he can be under contract for 2 schools at the same time. Without resigning at one. Thus waiting until the conclusion of the current season. This would probably effect his contract.
I have no idea if he is coming or staying. What i do know is usually when this sort of thing comes up and they are staying they hold a press conference to put the rumors to rest.
Maybe he is letting it roll so he can get a bigger contract, maybe hes leaving. We probably will not know for 2 weeks
