LSU vs Alabama 1979 Bama won 3-0. I remember walking up the ramp in the stadium and seeing the lights and hearing the crowd, I knew it was something special!

1994 vs A&M. We were sitting in N end zone close to the score board and a massive fight broke out when a drunk guy punched his gf. We lost a close game but I’ll never forget that fight that ensued around me. I was 7.

November 19, 1949.

My dad was attending Southeastern on the GI Bill so we piled into the Studebaker and traveled to BR to see SLC play LSU.

The Tigers won 48-7. The highlight of the game was Coach Tinsley pulling the first and second string players at halftime because he was not satified with their efforts. He took them to the practice field south of the horseshoe stadium and put them through full contact drills fully visible to the spectators in the stadium.

I attended games in TS regularly in the 50s as a Boy Scout usher.

Tennessee 2000. Saban's first year. I was so pumped throughout the game as a 6 year old.

When the fans rushed the field, I thought it was mandatory and was ready to join them. My dad, wanting to get out before the traffic, told me "no".
I cried when he said that, lol. I wanted to so badly.

Late 70's Rice or Wyoming. Not sure which was first but Carlos Carson went off. I believe it was 70 or 77-0
It was 1977 and the score was 77-0. That was my first game as well.

Oh, and it was Rice. I will never forget the cheer for that game: "What comes out of a Chinaman's arse? RICE!"

jerry stovall was coach in 1982 and the night it rained oranges
. That wasn’t the first time it rained oranges in TS. I think that guy was referencing the 1970 66-17 win over Ole Miss that won the SEC and sent LSU to the orange bowl

2003 vs Georgia. I was 7. I do not remember much of the game, but I do remember crying hysterically after because I remember being separated from my grandpa leaving the game. I also remember after he found me we met Michael Clayton sitting outside by himself.

Definitely an LSU Arkansas game after thanksgiving sometime in the 90s or very early 2000.

I remember The inflatable Arkansas mascot.

Sometime in the middle 60's. Friend of mine dad was a state trooper and got free tickets to the game. We stayed at my uncle's apartment right next to a Burger King or Chef. Probably played Rice or A&M, it wasn't a SEC game if I can remember right. Golden era in LSU football in my opinion, if we could only beat the Bear.

1971 vs Notre Dame. Sat with my grandfather and aunts and uncles. Age 10. Right next to the TV cameras. What a night. I was hooked before with the Ole Miss games in the late 60’s but have been a crazy fan since then

2007 Middle Tennessee.

Was truly overwhelmed by everything that was happening that I don't remember watching the game.

I don't really remember exactly when my first game was I think 96.

First vivid memory was my dad not letting me go with him to the 97 Florida game, we couldn't afford it or find tickets everyone we new was going.

Then first big memory in stadium was dad forking up way too much money to get us tickets to Notre Dame game in 97 and little sitter throwing a fit bc she couldn't go and I had been going to a few games so dad had to get her tickets too. We had to sit separate and he sat with little sister, I sat with my dad beat friend and my uncle. Stayed the whole game.

Fmsome of my best memories were watching lsu at tiger stadium, eating some hot peanuts with a coke.

Will always remember listening to the coaches interview and post game show with all the crazy calls stuck in traffic by stadium, and my favorite tradition of getting hot chocolate and beignets at Coffee Call with my my dad post game. I cherish those memories.

Was kinda upset when I went to bring my wife to coffee call one evening while visiting and the building was gone and then found the new tiny shop Coffee Call. Pretty crappy and not the same at all
