As a fan and avid believer, I will say our chances are as best as they have been in a while this year. Just depends on how well this team gells and if jayden got dramatically more accurate with his mid range and deep balls. we also need our running backs to step up!

Not with BK. His success in big games is below average. He always lays an egg like aTm last year.

So LSU can win a natty with O and Les but BK just isn’t good enough? I don’t blame the A&M loss on him. They simply just ran out of depth.
BK always lost the big ganes while at ND because he could never get the big dogs or talent he needed to compete. He can AND HAS gotten that here!

Except for 2019, which was an unstoppable force there is always a little luck involved. If we stay healthy, catch a few breaks then HELL YEAH we win it all this year!

You know damn well you haven't followed BK's career until he showed up at LSU. Stop parroting this lazy arse narrative. Some of you morons would find fault with Jesus Christ as our coach.

I think we have some things playing to our favor as early as this year.

Georgia will be breaking in a new QB (although it probably will be a more talented qb)

Bama needs a qb

OSU needs a qb

USC has the qb but Riley has yet to prove he can field a defense.

Michigan will not be a dynamic team but should be solid

Please rebut my take with facts not emotion.

No Lsu fans liked BK until he became our coach. He was known as an unlikeable, Yankee prick. And he hasn’t changed in my opinion.

So is this about his coaching or your thoughts on him as a person? Either way you’re way off base. I gave reasons as to why he struggled in big games.

I think the problem is he coached at the most unlikeable school. Not that he himself was unlikeable. Most can recognize he is a great coach but not many people in the south care for The Irish.

But he left them. He left a Top 3 program all time. (Bama, OU, ND) for LSU. LSU is top 10 all time but who just leaves ND?! Someone who recognizes that the history at ND isn’t enough to compete with the south.

He came for a guaranteed $90 million dollars. And ND fans were done with his underachieving seasons.

I can almost guarantee he wasn’t the reason ND underachieved. ND and their dinosaurs approach to college football is why they constantly underachieved. BK realized this. That’s why he left. It’s that simple.

This. There are so many teams breaking in new QB’s. Bama is down. TX/OU aren’t here yet, and this is the last season only 4 will try to win the whole thing. Instead of 12. Need to take advantage.

You literally don't have a clue what you're talking about. Every knowledgeable person around college football thinks BK is a top 5 coach and you still bitch having him as your own. News flash, Brian Kelly wasn't the problem. Notre Dame and it's outdated, elitist attitude is the reason they can't get players to win a title.

the only thing that can stop bk from winning a nc at lsu would be significant injuries. any dude that can take nd to the playoffs can easily take lsu with the amount of talent

We have a shot this year if JD progresses and the OL gets better.

That should be an emphatic yes and yes. The OL should be a strength and JD should be much more comfortable with the offense and willing to take more risks and trust his WRs.

If the DB transfers settle in and LB corps and DL stays healthy, this team can compete with anyone.

This is easily a top 10 team and with a couple breaks in the right direction could be in the NC picture.

Until Georgia and OSU, at a minimum, regress or LSU improves drastically then I don't think LSU wins one.

OSU have gotten their shite kicked in the last 2 years by Michigan. They have already regressed.
