So the same dumbasses who didn't leave at all now want to run panicked into the fricking streets almost 5 days early with no way of knowing where exactly it's gonna hit? Ignorance

You're making the choice not to go to the LSU game. LSU is not making that choice.

LSU is making the choice to play the game. I may not be able to attend because of that.

If you wanted to, you could make your storm preparations before you leave for the game, then head out to the game, and continue on North afterwards.

Unfortunately it is not that cut and dry for everybody. My 3 month old and wife are not going to the game. Therefore I have to go back home after the game. Would you suggest I leave them in my truck too?

BTW I am most likely going east not north.

This storm has been in the Caribbean for about 3 days now. Why are you waiting so late to prepare?

I've been preparing and am quite prepared. However I have been working all week and tomorrow is really the only day I have to do a lot of stuff before a mandatory evacuation is possibly called for where I live.

If you want to evacuate on Saturday even though half the people doing so will be going in the wrong direction, then knock yourself out. A good time for you to leave would be during the LSU game while most people are watching the game. It is ridiculous how many people need to be told how and when they need to evacuate. If you want to leave now, go. You don't need permission from Daddy Jindal.

Yes allow these idiots to run wild for 5 days before a storm. Even though 5 days is a stupid comment in itself (gap between Saturday and Monday isnt so much as 5 days).
Better to have idiots running wild ALIVE than have people staying behind DEAD.
Come on. People did die in Katrina and Rita (I hope some of you inconsiderate people remembered that).

All these pussies are too busy sucking on Momma Guvments teet to make their own decisions. If your so worried about the fricking storm and your families, here's an idea: Don't go to the fricking game and leave the state today.

So a storm that is barely over 50 miles wide is now going to demolish the entire fricking coast of Louisiana?

The game is being moved up from 4 p.m. because of safety concerns from potential evacuations from both the New Orleans and southwestern Louisiana areas, said LSU System spokesman Charles Zewe.

There will be no pre-game activities, he said.
