Miketiger81...Thanks. It went from 4 jets to 2 to almost cancelled pretty fast. If We had not had the guys with the cell phone calling the airport we probalbly would not have done it at all with no exact Time over Target to meet. I am actually Hurrevaced to Shreveport now....

FlyinTiger - Thanks for today - as well as what you do in flying for the country. BTW, my son is a recruiter for the LA ANG in Bell Chasse. He deployed this morning for the storm, so I haven't had an opportunity to tell him about the flyover.

I think it was supposed to be timed so that it coincided with the end part of the national anthem.

We sit high in the south endzone. I could see them coming in from the north. I scrambled for my camera and almost had them. It was really impressive.

I'm in the band, and I was on the field for pregame. We were just standing there at attention during the flag-raising. We were told at practice the other day that there would be a fly-over at the end of the national anthem. So I thought they flew over already and I just couldn't hear it because we were playing.
I was staring straight forward and couldn't look up so I just hear a huge roar and a shadow flash by.
Needless to say it scared the shite out of me.
