They're gunning for the game being canceled so they can avoid an SEC loss. No other explanation as to why they would tie up the first responders needed to put on a football game instead of allowing them to assist in the hurricane recovery.
If this happens and Florida wins out they would be 6-1. A 7-1 UT team gets in over them. A 6-2 UT team? That would be some BS if they get in over a 6-2 TN team - since UT beat UF.
Why do I have a feeling that if the storm was bearing down on South LA, the SEC office would force our hand?

Fk Florida and any pos fan that supports this. This isn't about us playing a home game, this is a pathetic joke on Florida's part. They know the game will be cancelled. This completely screws LSU. Fk them.

Uhh.. A 6-1 LSU wins the SECW over every other 7-1 team except Auburn.
7-1 Bama gets in over 6-1 LSU even with our head to head over them
A cancelled game is huge for UF, but hurts us

I have a UF media guy saying LSU should cancel the South Alabama game so they can go to the swamp November 19th. So were supposed to cancel a game because the UF admin is too big a piece of shite to move a game out of a Cat 3 Hurricane?

Do they?
Wouldn't a 7-1 Bama team get in over a 6-1 LSU team, even though LSU would have beaten Bama? It's not a tie in the standings because Bama would have a higher win percentage.

Fort Wilderness in Orlando is under mandatory evacuation from Disney but UF administration evidently is oblivious to bearing down on the state of Florida.
This is insane.

So, they would rather have traveling LSU fans take up hotel space that could be used for people evacuating other regions
No. the evacuees will arrive at the hotel first, not leave, they won't be kicked out, and the LSU fans - assuming any of them go - would have no place to stay... or would be "walked" to Pensacola or something.

Tenn has to lose 2 games for them to win east, so a win in this game is meaningless, but a loss would likely eliminate them. They hope game is cancelled. No risk at loss.

I understand that Florida is scared and it makes more sense for them to get this game canceled.....but
I hope Mizzou kicks the shite out UF next week for this idiocy.

Yes, bama would go at 7-1. That guy doesn't know what he is saying.

Forget football, this is criminal negligence. A category 4 hurricane is expected to make landfall on Friday, and public officials want to pull off police, EMT's, and other first responders from, ya know, saving people's lives in the wake of what could be utter devastation.
Forget about asking 85 student athletes to fly into Tampa, a likely closed airport, against the tide of people the governor has order to evacuate.
Some things matter more than a football game. This is beyond outrageous. Florida's refusal to cancel this game is insane, and downright dangerous.
