These next 2 starting pitchers like giving free passes. Need to be patient and work these a-holes.

Game 2
UF – Fr. RH Liam Peterson (1-2, 7.50 ERA, 18.0 IP, 9 BB 22 SO)

Game 3
UF – Jr. LH Jac Caglianone (2-0, 1.77 ERA, 20.1 IP, 13 BB 34 SO)

We swing at waaaaaaay too many first pitches.

It would be one thing if it was just a couple of guys with high averages that have proven they can be successful at it, but it's down the whole lineup and almost caused some problems last night.

I know one inning the UF pitcher had two pitches and two outs and Jay had to call time to talk with Pearson just to slow things down a bit.

If they throw subpar pitchers, we will struggle. They’ll have their best games against our bats.

They made a statement. 0 for 6 with RISP and no runs after the fourth inning.
