I don't talk to his dad, but I became friends through work with a former OSU player. He knows things.

Think about it. We’ve had lots of guys pack up and leave Baton Rouge over the years. How many of them made you feel like you wanted to make 30 posts on another team’s message board over the course of a 24 hour period?

Again, maybe I’m cynical but I think somethings up with this guy.

Smart buck says Burrows and his father expects his son to play........

All I’m saying is the 3 QBs we have all have a year or more with playbook experience and have not heard their dads give ultimatums about playing and if anyone thinks a transfer who had no playing time is going to come in and definitely play is fooling themselves as this is LSU and such situations hardly ever happen at LSU.....

So if you dreamers want to dream go ahead but O better know what he is doing if he signs a dud transfer , creates more QB controversy and loses Brennan or even Mc Millan

Brennan ! Every player is accountable to himself to be the best he can be ... Nothing given is worth a dam EARN THE RIGHT TO BE THE QB AT LSU

Neither have shown anything to warrant freaking out over one leaving.

Like another poster said, you all want Brennan to just be handed the job but it was his for taking this spring and he couldn’t do it.

We wouldn’t be looking for a QB if Brennan cane out and was the best QB this spring.

Heard nothing on the UF front. That was literally the first school I thought of when he announced for obvious reasons.

The other guy keeps saying the relationship is toxic Bc burrow never got a shot to play and prove himself. Sounds like every backup who wants a shot

Welcome to Tiger Nation

We can be a rough bunch just like others that are not beating Bama

My hope is Joe finds that he likes Baton Rouge. Great college town with some wonderful southern bells that love football.

He will have to earn his PT just like all the rest of em but I would love to have him on the team.

Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium is all that! He couldn't do better the Tiger-land! i

That's the point I am at now. Whoever will win the job I don't care. I just want someone to step up and if it happens to be Burrow then so be it!

It's the LSU way, however, Cardale Jones was the 3rd string QB for Ohio St. in 2014 until the other two QBs got hurt. Then he won the Big 10 title game, beat Bama in the playoff semifinal and won the NC against Oregon. So Urban has had some pretty good backups...

We've never really lost solid starter talent though. If we had Fournette riding the pine behind another talented RB and benched Fournette to the point where it was dramatic and he left, I'd put in my 2 cents worth on another teams forum. If it helps the guy out and he wasnt a dick, why not?

Lol.

And our gullible idiot fans eat it up.

First they screech:

“We need to get this guy!! He was coached by that master quarterback-developer Urban Meyer!”

Then they turn right around and proclaim what a dumbass Meyer is for not giving this guy the starting job and eat up this Smartbuck’s posts about some kind of conspiracy where Urban knew this kid was his best qb but didn’t start him out of a personal grudge.

Well if we are being fair, in his small sample of playing time, he seems to be more accurate than any qb weve seen play since Mett.

74% completion. Harris hovered around 53% his entire career, with his worst year coming at UNC. Id venture to say if harris was even above 60%, Miles would still be the coach and he wouldnt have lost his job to Danny.

Don't know how accurate, but someone claimed his family doesn't want him to go any where with ties to Urban.

I just hope this doesn't end up like Adoreé Jackson where we had to listen to UF fans bitch for weeks about how sure they were that we must be paying him off to come here only for him to just thumb his nose at both of us and pick USC after all.

this.

from what I've been given to understand Joe and his family don't want any ties or connections to Urban wherever he goes to play.

hope he enjoys his trip, but I'm all for riding with the QBs we have on our roster, given that they were all highly recruited and never given a moment to really show what they can do in-game.
