The most interesting thing to me is the way their fans were growing increasingly desperate to get something going against Hurd after our 6-run 2nd inning, writing that Riley Cooper and then Skenes would be coming by the 5th or 6th inning and it would be lights out. If their players were thinking the same (and I suspect they were), they would have been pressing against Hurd, which of course would have worked to his (and our) advantage. Our pitchers were really in their heads.
