There's just not a great team out there this year. We'll have a chance with our D in all games. Just need the slightest competence on offense.

This was the first week they’ve run the ball effectively. And they didn’t run wild, just better than average.
Their defense also does give up some yards. They just did a good job of getting turnovers and stops in the red zone. But yards alone don’t win games.

They only averaged 4 ypc for the game. Sticking to the run was the key for both UF and Bama this weekend. Kelly needs to take note since we know Sloan will abandon it at the first sign of trouble.

I get Sloan struggling and I understand UF’s offensive issues, but I’m pretty shocked that an offensive coach of Sark’s level is struggling this much to get anything going offensively. I know Manning is limited, but he’s the kind of coach I expect to be able to work around some flaws. Like us, it’s not like they have no talent.

I think the defense is very good. But it’s hard to judge based on the Florida game alone. I think both Florida and Texas are not good. Arch is not mentally ready for the big stage at all and flopped hard. Again.
But yes this defense is great so far and doing great things. They can keep us in games.

It was a wakeup call, but not for the reasons the OP said. It just showed how over ranked Texas and Arch really are, of course for most, this shouldn't have been a wakeup call.
