Yea this is what happen when you combine the shitty bullpen with bad luck. So many “at-‘em” balls this year I’ve lost track and then key injuries.

The injuries have absolutely NOTHING to do with play on the field. How many LSU teams could have absorbed losing 2 of their weekend starters for multiple games and one for half the season.
Then add 3 fielders who have missed significant time and a couple of others like Bide who have missed a series and you have a lot of things for a team that already had flaws to work around.
That’s a shitload of bad luck.

I should have worded it better. We’ve definitely had some bad luck, as every team does. I just wonder if we sometimes over exaggerate how much bad luck we’ve had because it gets lumped in actual bad play.
