Or we can not put ourselves in a position to let the refs be a deciding factor
i hate this stupid comment. there is NO gameplan or player execution that can stop incompetent/cheating refs.

yes. it matters. at this point, point differential matters - right or wrong. it just does. the higher the team is ranked, the more they can absorb a loss or close game and still make the playoffs. at least 2 of fla's td's came as a direct result of a non-call on the scoring play. the others were impacted by missed calls.

I get what you are saying, but at some point we look like assholes as a collective fan base by constantly bitching about referees.

Every play?

Seriously. You can call holding or PI / Defensive holding on receivers every play on both teams. Officiating was fine.

Ok then what happen against Florida? From the looks of this thread the refs were screwing us out of the game. Yet, we won by 14. Seems like I was right on point?

You people are seriously ridiculous. LSU is not the only team to have this problem. We aren't being cheated, the refs were fine for the UF game. Our fan base is full of a bunch of whining bitches.

It looked short actual time
It looked short in replay
It looked short later on tv

Yes stuff like this does matter
It was early in the game and the call showed the refs had bad judgement
They need to call them out on this stuff on tv
I was disappointed they showed it and quickly moved on
Same with a few other calls
The tv guys and experts should point out bad calls and it is not their job to hide the refs shortcomings
Make them accountable and maybe they will improve field calls
And this is for any bad call not just ours

Mu understanding is the refs are reviewed and graded by the conference. The schools send in tapes of questionable calls and no-calls.

Yeah, we won by 14, and when they pull that shite at Bama we’ll lose by 14.

Some idiots don't get it and probably lack the intelligence to ever get it. And that was just one play. LSU should have gotten a safety on Trask when Shelvin was held in the endzone.
Some dumbarses figure if you win all else doesn't matter. But until refs are held accountable they will continue to blow or miss calls. And all these cannot be unintentional. It only matters to some people when they lose. It should matter ALL THE TIME. Because eventually it will cost a team a game. Just ask the Detroit Lions fans, or anyone who watched that debacle.

Emery held on Burrow’s long scramble, and Saahdiq held on the next play. Neither were called. LSU scored on the drive.

Your the dumb one for thinking that officiating can and does change to outcome of games and intentionally so.

So dumb...

These refs need to be held accountable for their wrong or missed calls.
They do. 100%

But they also missed a very obvious PI/Hold on us in the UF-redzone, and some illegal players downfield on RPO-passes including our first score.

Some of the holding misses against our DL were just inexplicable though -- like the obvious front-and-center hold during the Perine TD.

Might as well get used to it though. If we expect to win in Tuscaloosa, we damn well know it won't be with any aid from Bama holding calls.

I don't think you have the IQ to understand the point I'm trying to make. All you just did was confirm, not disagree, that refs should be held accountable. You just used an example that went against the team you are SUPPOSE to be supporting. Doesn't matter to me. The point is refs should be held accountable, and they are not.
