Based on almost all of Kelly's teams, assignment based football and toughness (mentally and physically) has been their biggest strength. These are some of the reasons he was able to do more with less. Inversely, those were the two most glaring things we have lacked in the past two years. Combining talent with preparation is a scary combination for anyone playing LSU this year. Make no mistake, this LSU team will be prepared when they line up in the dome.

Tbf we should have. The talent discrepancy between us and them was ridiculous. Now we actually have a competent coaching staff so we won’t be losing to teams full of 3 stars anymore
