I'm amazed that none of you Einsteins has managed to land a Power 5 head coaching gig yet.

This means literally nothing at all.

walk-ons throw touchdown passes in practice.

Myles Brennan was beat out by two quarterbacks this offseason, and was AT BEST our 3rd string quarterback. I don't understand why so many of you cannot grasp that very, very simple concept.

Kelly didn't "run off" Brennan - Brennan could not compete with 2 other superior quarterbacks.

I miss that type of offense! With the DC we have now we can win a lot of games with that offense. And Brennan made a lot of those throws in pain with the injury he had. If Boutte pushed for JD or Nuss to be the starter in the Spring I guess he is suffering those consequences now.

Or relented.

It was his last year period and came back to LSU to finish. If you were like him would you just sit the bench if coaches told you they were not going to start you?

So did he "want" to play football, or not? If he wanted to play football, he would have transferred. But wait, he did enter the portal prior to spring camp, and apparently the best offer he had was to try out at LSU. If he had a better offer, don't you think he would have gone there?

To answer your question, if I had his talents, I would have tried to play at LSU, or found another school to try and play for, so far as I wanted to play football. If I did not want to play football, I would have found something else to do with my NIL money.

That without context is literally meaningless and irrelevant.

If they had played both Brennan and JD in the first 2-3 games, with each having packages, the OL would have settled in to where they are now and your QB that could have utilized the talented WR's would have emerged. Brennan had his flaws but from watching that clip you can see he was dealing with an abysmal OL and was still hitting WR's in all parts of the field and offsetting blocking flaws by getting the ball out quick. Had he played against Auburn, they would have ran AU off the field.

Yep.

Which makes the question of what happened with Brennan all the more intriguing. When I went back and watched the Mizzou game I was amazed at how well we were slinging it - and that was Myles 3rd career start with two true Fr receivers (Arik and Kayshon).

Another unsolved Tiger mystery.
