What’s up with Dumervil?

This is his third year. He should be starting by now. I thought he was legit when we signed him.

Who knows? He was listed as a backup tackle, but they keep shuffling and using other guys over him. The fact that they trust Bradford at tackle at his size over him isn’t good.

We have 3 former Knights playing for LSU already

4 actually.

Fitz, Sage, Jordan Allen, and Princeton Malbrue. Princeton transferred from Northwestern. His brother played LB at UL Lafayette.

I sit next to his uncle at the LCA games when we go. They keep on that kid when he messes up.

They have several very fast and relatively sure-handed WRs. Trae Grogan is probably the guy likely to project to P5 WR level. Their QB, Jujuan Johnson, is more than likely going to be a DB at the next level.

He played as a reserve nose tackle on D one game but he’s been in at center twice late in games. He’s got the perfect frame for it only being 6’2” but 325 lbs. he would have a lower center of gravity and should hold up better against the bigger SEC interior players that Charles Turner has trouble with. Turner has worked his arse off to get from the 245 lb freshman he was to the guy he is now but he’s still only about 290 soaking wet and is just in over his head sometimes. He’s in there because he’s a great communicator on the line so that’s something West can be learning like Cushenberry did. If Heard were to start next year though I don’t see how he would supplant Emery Jones at RT unless he was just undeniable. Being the freshman he would go inside to guard first. I think that kid can be good anywhere they put him though.

Not sure about this. Heard is by all accounts a born tackle and Jones can really play either spot. He definitely has the mean streak necessary to be a bad arse guard. If Heard comes in ready, I could see this happening to get our best guys on the field together.

I wholeheartedly agree.

I believe West has a good chance to be ready to contribute next season.

It will certainly help that Campbell, Jones and Dillinger have logged a lot of playing time this year, and Bradford has some good experience too and is a bit older.
