Trying not to have our coaching situation reflect on how poorly he's run the state. Classic.

Les was probably so calm and upbeat because he knew he could call his buddy Bobby to sabotage any negotiations.

Jindal expressed concern at how the situation had been handled? Isn't this the same cock hole that has cut higher education without hesitation? Anybody that let Boobie Piyushy Jindal impact their decision is an ineffective imbecile.

Probably Rolfe McColister was one of the gang. He has completely sold out LSU and acted as little more than Jindal cuckold on the board.

Bobby Jindal hand picked everyone on the LSU Board of Supervisors. They're his puppets, and they'll do what he tells them to do.

I just can't get over this entire scenario, though. I mean...Jimbo could have easily been our current coach. We would have been set up perfectly for massive amounts of success for the next decade.

But Louisiana politics stepped in and took control over the situation.

It's just incredibly depressing. And honestly, as long as Alexander is LSU's president, the athletics department won't have the autonomy to do what is best for LSU football.

That article confirms everything I've been thinking/saying since about 10 pm last Saturday night.

Jindal appointed the ENTIRE LSU B.O.S.
Jindal appointed F. King Alexander
Jindal enjoys the hearty support of Les Miles
Jindal called in a favor. I am reminded of that scene in The Godfather: "One day--and that day may never come--I will call upon you to do a service for me."

This whole thing has turned into the most typical Louisiana clusterfrick. Is anyone REALLY that surprised? Our state strives for mediocrity in everything that doesn't involve partying.

Is it weird we let Iowa's governor call the shots here? Bobby is the governor there, right?

all the people riding around with Geaux Jindal stickers should feel even dumber tonight.

I almost hope the boosters put the hammer down on King and the BOS. if the donations dry up they will be up shite creek.

The fact anyone gives a shite what an outgoing governor says is what's most puzzling.

I don't I understand how jindal has any pull now.

Maybe Bobby will perform an exorcism on Les and rid him of the offensive demons he's had the last few years
